AMAZON SUSTAINABLE LANDSCAPES PROGRAM
Annual Conference

The Amazon Sustainable Landscapes Program (ASL) is a regional initiative financed with GEF-6 resources that includes the countries of Brazil, Colombia and Peru. The main objective of the ASL is to protect the biodiversity of global importance and implement policies that promote sustainable land use and restoration of native vegetation cover in the Amazon. The program is executed by the governments of Brazil, Colombia and Peru with the support of the World Bank, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), as executing agencies of the GEF. The World Bank coordinates the ASL and leads a knowledge exchange and monitoring platform to support the projects.
