New Librarians Conference
ASLA hosts the New Librarians Conference every 3 years as a way to invest in and reach out to school librarians who have served less than 5 years as a school library media specialist. ASLA believes it is important to provide professional learning opportunities, foster mentoring relationships, and collaboration/networking opportunities for school libraries new to the profession. The New Librarians Conference is an excellent way for school librarians to get involved in ASLA and receive continued professional support, learning, and advocacy from the statewide affiliate of AASL.
