Abraham

Abraham was born in 1787, possibly in Georgia, though he worked for a physician in Pensacola, Florida. He joined the Royal Colonial Marines under Major Edward Nichols during the War of 1812, fortifying the British fort at Prospect Bluff. When the Fort was destroyed by forces under Duncan Lamont Clinch, Abraham fled, founding the town of Pilaklikaha, or Many Lakes, in central Florida. Abraham was called Souanaffe Tustenugge, Warrior of the Suwanee River, married to Hagan, the widow of Bolek Micco, and was an advisor to the Cowkeeper Dynasty of Micco Nuppa during negotiations of the Treaty of Ft. Moultrie and the Treaty of Payne’s Landing.
