REVAMP IN PROGRESS
We thank you for your patience with the on going changes.
Nicolai was a perfect combination of playboy and jock. He played as a Chaser on the Gryffindor team, and back during his time there he was seen as someone who could go very far with his skill, but his arrogance and cocky manner often times turned people off.
In his fifth year he went to the Christmas ball with Mary Smythe, and they ended up dating for a short while. While they were together it was great, he showed her a lot of attention, he was good to her, they shared some pretty special moments where he actually toned down his attitude and arrogance, but eventually it got back to her that he wasn't being entirely honest with how many girls he was seeing at the same time as her. She found him one evening after Quidditch Practice while he was still in the change room, and made one of the torches attack him constantly, chasing him all the way back to the castle despite him being wrapped only in a towel.
They kept away from each other entirely during the rest of their time at Hogwarts, and even after they both graduated they never really saw each other. He went into Professional Quidditch for a few years, and even though he had cleaned up his act both with his attitude and his relationships, it still followed him when his current fiance at the time accused him of cheating on her. Even though it ended up not being true, he decided to leave the spotlight of Professional Qudiditch all together and went into recluse.
It wasn't until he and Mary happened to accidently, and literally, bump into each other in Diagon Alley that they sparked up a conversation, which turned into the occasional letter back and forth, and eventually a dinner date. Now the two see each other quite often, and have moved to Ireland together, to where Mary already has a vacation home that she has been wanting to turn into her new dwelling since she is now down to only four children living at home.
Keeley Sheradin lived her childhood on the London streets, by the age of seven she had already been under local child curfew at least 4 times. She was placed in an orphanage that was supposed to be a good place for troubled kids. She was always getting into fights, most of them having to do with bullying. It was commonly joked around that her birthday present at 18 would be a trip to Foston Hall.
Her rescue came in the form of a professor from a special needs private school that insisted that she been sent to. Hogwarts was the best time of her life. She did not seem to get into nearly as many fights, she made friends, in fact two girls she was sorted with and shared a dorm with, Charlie Merle and Siobhan O'shaughnessy, became her best friends. Her time at school was pretty relaxed, and she spent most of that time hanging out with her friends, at least until they both seemed to have their time taken up with Ashworths.
The winter of her sixth year, she spent the break with Siobhan and Hale at Shadowgrove. While Sio and hale, as per usual, kept themselves scarce, she found herself wandering the large estate. She found Tragen alone a lot of the time so she started keeping him company, there seemed to be a lot going on in his troubled mind and she was happy to just be someone to sit with him with no expectations on him, gradually he started to open up to her. After the school year started, she sent him owls and they corresponded through school, and over summer, while she was staying between Charlie and Sio’s place, she spent time at Shadowgrove.
Christmas break of her 7th year Keeley spent the break at Shadowgrove. It had been a tough year for Tragen, there had been a lot of family issues and he had confessed to her that she was the only sane thing in her life. She turned to him and asked him to marry her. He was taken by surprise, and after a little bit about how he should be proposing to her, he finally agreed, by the time April came around, Keeley had decided that she was of age and dropped out of school, moving into Shadowgrove to be with her fiance.
Tragedy occurred shortly after when the Ashworth home was devastated by an attack of fiendfyre that destroyed the entire estate, but managed to remain contained by the protective barriers around the estate. The Ashworths and guests were forced to fall back to a safe house. Jaron Ashworth unfortunately did not make it out. They were able to have the funeral, however, the hits were not done yet, as Keeley went into labor a month and a half early. Professor Ari, long time friend of the family, rushed over to assist with the delivery, she had been on call as they knew there was a chance that there could be some complications with the delivery as they were twins.
Leander Jaron Ashworth was born happy and healthy, Christian Kore Ashworth was not breathing properly and required constant Healer supervision for the first couple months. They were all worried that they might lose him, however Keeley arranged for a life saving transplant without Tragen’s knowledge that saved their son, who is now happy and growing, if not a little weaker than his twin.
Born to her father Bjorn Vadderung and her mother, English native, Lorelei Ainsworth in Húsavík, Iceland
Bj's father's side of the family tend to have very strict rules about how children are to be raised. Bjorn was not hesitant to move to England when he found out Lorelei was carrying his child, he wanted to be close to her, and be there for their child. Tragedy struck when Lorelei died during childbirth. Following that, Bjoria and her father have lived alone most of their life
Bjoria's first showing of magic was actually causing the flowers in her grandmother's garden to bloom. During the winter. Because she was sick of the snow and the cold.
As Bjoria grew closer to school age she spent more and more time among Lorelei's parents who liked to take her to various galas. It was because of this that the arranged marriage between Bjoria and Ignatious Ashworth lll came to be, though neither were made aware of it until their later years.
Bjoria tends to be very well mannered in the public face, though it has been said she is more than she appears. She has a cold sort of temper, never losing control in the face of rage.
Her betrothal to Ignatious has been the source of much conflict between herself, Ignatious, and Persephone due to his relationship with Persephone, which as of the summer of 2026 went as far as a brief engagement before it was ended.
Her time spent with the Ashworths was fairly quiet and she was quickly embraced by just about every Ashworth in the household except for the young man she was meant to be with. Going into the summer of 2026, she vanished from the public eye and even pulled back from the Ashworths following the death of her own father. Her activities after the terrible event went mostly unknown until recently when she resurfaced and it was discovered that she had stepped in for her father.
Now, she's come back changed with a far less subtle personality, and while she appears to be far more open minded, it is also clear that she isn't about to take any crap from anyone. In returning, she is also resuming her betrothal to Ignatious. Hopefully this time the young man doesn't neglect her the way he had the first time around.
Raised by her Grandmother, Siobhan never really got to know her parents. She was raised on stories of the wizarding war, and the work her parents did to help protect those who were oppressed and hunted. She grew up in a refugee community in Tholt-e-Will on the Isle of Man. Most of the residents escaped the wizarding war to hide there. Always one to look out after the younger children of the community, and never one to turn away from a challenge, it was no wonder that this feisty redhead was quickly sorted in Gryffindor.
Siobhan was very good at keeping her head down and staying out of the way, until she saw blatant injustice, and then she was unable to ignore it. Initially, she had the plan to join the Aurors when she graduated, to follow in her parents' field. She loved to help people, but it was a duty that she felt she owed her parents.
In her 4th year she made friends with Hale Ashworth, but nothing really started between them until their 5th year. She wasn't really exposed to his family at the school, spending most of her time with him talking about what they wanted out of life. Sio spent breaks with him at his family estate, and would invite him to her home in Isle of Man when things got too crazy at Shadowgrove, especially with his mother's disapproval of her. By the time they made it to their 7th year, there was no doubt from either of them that they were end game, in fact, in the beginning of their last year, Hale surprised Siobhan with a ring as he proposed to her in the Grand staircase.
As the years carried on, Siobhan spent most of her time between N.E.W.T.S, spending time with Hale, and helping Lex try and pull pranks in his first year at school. Hale's focus was set on the Circus, and Siobhan's goal for life was to be with him. They had discussed what they wanted for their wedding, if they were going to do the big family wedding, or if they were going to elope and run away to the Circus, this was primarily a joke, but the night of the train ride, Hale and Siobhan were nowhere to be found.
Officially the first Ashworth spouse of this generation, Siobhan was more than thrilled to move with Hale to the Circus, finding her place easily with all of the new "family". Not even a full year of being married, they had their first child. The birth was hard, it took an entire day and there were periods where they were afraid they might lose Sio. In the end they had a baby girl, strong and healthy, and Siobhan was weak but alive. The birth had taken a lot out of her, but now, 8 months later, she is finally getting up on her feet more and starting to seem like herself.
Despite Verity's desire to have as many boyfriends as she could since she was old enough to walk, Harley has been her betrothed since the girl was three years old, and when he was about seven years old.
To rival the drama of even the Ashworth family, the Eriksen family is not without it's own drama and deadly darkness. Harley was born as the heir of Tyberus and Anja Eriksen, he would be the head to Tyberus' mini army. However, a former classmate of Tyberus, Ingrid, was not at all happy for the new family and set her attention to making Tyberus hers, this led to the loss of Anja after having given birth to Harley two months premature.
Harley's youth was full of struggles and battles as his new step bother, Lief, not even a year younger than him and the son of Ingrid, was constantly trying to convince everyone that he should be the families heir. He was suspicious, even from a young age, that Ingrid was a dangerous woman and that she somehow had a hold on his father, even when Tyberus tried to move away from her to other women. His suspicions were confirmed when the mothers of his next four brothers were all lost to unknown or mysterious causes.
For the longest time he was too young to do anything, and Ingrid was able to convince everyone that he was merely a child with an active imagination, but when he was of age he tried speaking out again and it set Ingrid's dangerous attention on him.
Back and forth arguments persisted as Ingrid insisted on Lief becoming the family heir, but Tyberus was firm in his belief that it should be his first son, Harley. As the next few years continued, Tyberus' health took a very quick downward spiral. As usual, Harley suspected his stepmother but could not prove it. Finally, in the summer of 2026, Ingrid managed to convince Tyberus to sign everything over to Lief instead of Harley.
Once she had the signature, she sought out Harley and found him living at Shadowgrove manor. To conceal his kidnapping, she sent a destructive Fiendfyre spell at the manor and the vast Estate that the Ashworths called home. To this day, it is believed that Harley perished in the fire with Jaron and Ignatious ll. The only one poking holes in this belief is Aksel, another stepbrother to Harley and Lief.
Darcy's life started out in New York City, the Bronx to be exact, but his mother moved him and Joel to the UK to live with a his father's aunt during his youth for reasons that she did not share with many people. Darcy showed signs of magic which scared off his Muggle mother, and she took Joel with her. Darcy's magical father had not traveled with them from America, and this left Darcy alone, and searching.
He was a Slytherin student at Hogwarts, he met Verity early on in their school years, but they didn't really start to interact until she was a Prefect and had to tell him off for constantly getting in fights, or getting in trouble for being violent to people.
He always had an attitude and anger to him, and eventually Verity discovered that it was because he was constantly searching for his twin brother, Joel, but could never find him.
During his time at school he used every method he could to find any of his family members, any of them, and it wasn't until his sixth year that he decided to give up searching in the UK and he began searching the U.S. This, of course, meant he had to go back, which he did. It took time, and some unexpected assistance, but eventually Darcy was reunited with his twin brother in New York.
It was instant, Darcy decided to drop out of school and live his live back in the states, but he still keeps in touch with Verity, they write often, and visit on her school breaks.
Aleksei & Alasdair met properly in their fourth and fifth years at Hogwarts. They never really had much interaction with each other prior, but when they did start talking they found that they had a few things in common, their Pure Blood lifestyles, for example. Overtime they started to grow closer with each other, and soon had their first kiss.
At some point throughout the next year Alasdair decided that he wanted what he had with Aleksei to be more official and for them to be more than friends, and they started dating. It was also the start of a long path for them, one that was both full of joy, happiness, and difficulties.
Even though the next while went very well and the pair got along great, there always seemed to be something, or someone, that came between them. Despite this, they pushed on, and during the summer before their fifth and sixth years, Alasdair got on one knee and gave a promise ring to Aleksei. It was a special time for both of them, until it wasn't. Word eventually got around that Alasdair was spending a little too much time with others on the side after promising himself to Aleksei.
This didn't end well at all, and after a few arguments and one very physical confrontation, the pair started to become more distant. For a time they kept trying to make things work, but so much had happened, trust had been ruined, and feelings and emotions had been shattered. They parted ways in their relationship.
Tension had grown between them, a tension that neither really wanted. It was clear that even though both were still very hurt and both still had a lot of trust issues that needed to be worked out, there was still something there between them. Could it ever be what it once was? No one knows, especially them. But a little more than a week before the end of the same school year both young men did decide to try to put the tension behind them, try to be civil with each other and even crack a joke here and there, and above all move forward to a fresh start together... Or as fresh as possible.
From there? Only time will tell.
