Above is the assembled base of the wooden box. Pieces of wood were cut out using the bandsaw.... then assembled and glued together.

The image above and below show the lid mechanism. There are two slightly off set pieces of wood.... the lid is able to rest on top and act as a lid.
The box is seen above before being sanded down and stained.
The box is seen before being polished, sanded, and cleaned up.

The two images seen show the wooden box drying after being stained.
To the right is the wood strainer used on the wooden box. I applied two coats of wood stainer to the box.
