Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA)
The Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) program supports and empowers young professionals — 35 years old and younger — who are building their careers in the HVAC&R industry.
YEA’s mission is to create and promote opportunities that respond to the needs of younger members, through training, networking, leadership development, and international collaboration within ASHRAE.
Its goal is to inspire and prepare the next generation of leaders in ASHRAE and in the wider HVAC&R community.

The SmartStart Program is the easiest and most affordable way for ASHRAE Student Members to continue receiving all the benefits of Associate Membership after graduation.
This three-year transition program helps recent graduates move smoothly from Student to Associate Member status, with significantly reduced membership dues and full access to ASHRAE resources, events, and professional opportunities.
💡 How it Works
It is designed for those who were ASHRAE Student Members and have recently graduated. The program lasts for three consecutive years, offering a smooth and affordable transition into professional membership. Annual dues are significantly reduced compared to regular professional rates.
💰 Indicative Fees:
1st year after graduation: 30 USD
2nd year: 105 USD
3rd year: 145 USD
