The goal of this project was to help recruitment managers track and manage the recruitment process for prospects and new hires through a digital tool.
PROCESS
We wanted to build an understanding of our user audience, so we started our research phase with user interviews with users of the existing platform. Through the user interview conducted, we shared helpful insights such as cluttered information, tiring manual input of data and tracking was very inefficient. With the insights we received, we synthesis and map out all the pain points, thoughts, feelings, and feedback to the different stages of the recruitment process.
As I joined the project midway, there were already existing old wireframes and screens catered to the requirements before the digital transformation phase. With the help of the qualitative data we have gathered, we translated the issues to design objectives for the various pain points throughout the recruitment process. I recreated a new set of high-fi wireframes for us to conduct concept testing to validate our new concepts to reduce the tedious process.
With the shared feedback of the concept testing, we further refined our priorities and direction for the platform. I then converted the wireframes to user interface screens by applying their brand guide and linked a prototype to perform the functions of some parts of the process.
After iterations from feedback based on our client and the stakeholder sharing session, we moved to the final phase of high-fi user interface design to prepare for the final usability testing. The usability testing was conducted with 8 users of different job levels.
OUTCOME
The outcome was successful as the digitalisation transformation of the manual tiring process, the new flow, and accessibility led to a more efficient workflow.
