Course Description
This PLTW foundational course is a survey course of engineering that exposes students to some of the major concepts taught in undergraduate engineering courses. Students have an opportunity to investigate a variety of engineering fields and develop skills needed for many specialization courses. During this fast-paced and rigorous course, students learn about mechanics, electricity, statics, programming, fluid power, and more. Students also develop problem-solving skills and learn how to document their work to communicate their solutions to peers and members of the professional community. Students who earn a B or higher both semesters are eligible to earn 2 units of college credit at Las Positas College for ENGR 10.
Course Description
