The Associated Student Government of San Diego Miramar College is a publicly funded, autonomous constituency of Miramar’s shared governance structure under California Education Code: EDC ARTICLE 4. Student Organizations [76060 - 76067]
This website and all affiliated social media accounts and correspondence, either print or electronic, are sanctioned under SDCCD Board Policy 4500 – STUDENT PUBLICATIONS. Privacy Policy

Any and all use of the San Diego Miramar College Associated Student Government website and all affiliated websites, sites, pages, posts, comments, social media accounts, audio and/or visual media, both at Associated Student Government (sites.google.com/view/asgmiramar/) and elsewhere on the Internet (herein known as "Associated Student Government", "The Associated Student Government", or "ASG") is strictly voluntary and constitutes an agreement with the Associated Student Government, including members; students, staff, and faculty of the San Diego Community College District; representatives; clerks; content creators; contributors; consultants; advisors; writers; editors; publishers; and other staff members (herein know as "ASG members") to collect and use your, the user's, data for the sole purposes, both public and private, of the Associated Student Government. Any and all information, including cookies, location, personal and identifiable data, and/or metadata, you provide, knowingly or unknowingly, within the bounds of any and all applicable SDCCD and Associated Student Government policies, procedures, ASG bylaws, and local, state, federal, and international laws, including but not limited to FERPA (The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), can be used by the Associated Student Government and ASG members for the purposes stated herein. Any interactions with the Associated Student Government and ASG members constitutes an agreement by you, the user, to these terms in full. The Associated Student Government takes its responsibility to protect the privacy of ASG members, students, SDCCD staff and faculty, site users, and visitors seriously. The Associated Student Government does not share or sell that information to any third parties. Any information you, the user, visitor, student, staff, faculty, or ASG member, share with ASG remains private.

Terms of Service

(1) Disclaimer:Any advise, suggestions, claims, or statements (herein known as "statements") made at, on, or by the San Diego Miramar College Associated Student Government and all affiliated websites, sites, pages, posts, comments, social media accounts, audio and/or visual media, both at Associated Student Government (sites.google.com/view/asgmiramar/) and elsewhere on the Internet (herein known as "The Associated Student Government", "Associated Student Government", or "ASG") are meant for either informational or educational purposes only. No person(s), group(s), or representative(s) of, or affiliated with, the Associated Student Government or the San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) should be considered as a legal, financial, business, psychological or medical professional or as a religious, spiritual, or moral advisor, regardless of title(s) and/or education/training, either implicitly or explicitly, stated, written, or assumed unless otherwise stated by said professional.
(2) Limit of Liability:The Associated Student Government, including members; students, staff, and faculty of the San Diego Community College District; representatives; clerks; content creators; contributors; consultants; advisors; writers; editors; publishers; and other staff members (herein know as "ASG members") are free of any liability regarding the actions taken by the user, viewer, reader, or listener (herein know as "you," "your," "the user," or "user") as a direct or indirect result of- response to- or suggestion by- these statements.
(3) Consent to Release of Ownership:Any and all submission(s) of material(s), actual, physical, or conceptual, including but not limited to articles; blog posts; text; audio and/or visual media; edits; suggestions; methodologies; narratives/stories, real or fictitious; and/or general and specific artistic; business; marketing; and accounting advise to the Associated Student Government and/or ASG members become the sole property of the Associated Student Government upon receipt under the broadest adherence to the Copyright Act of 1976, as defined under Title 17 of the United States Code, for all purposes public and private. You, upon submission of such material(s), agree to these terms.
