ASG elections take place at the first meeting of the semester for any open executive or senator positions. After filling out and submitting the application form to Joesph Hankinson (jhankins@sdccd.edu), you will be asked to give a one minute introduction of who you are and why you want to join the ASG during the first meeting. You will then have the opportunity to be voted in.
Get involved with Miramar Associated Student Government to serve as a voice for student matters and to get involved with your community.
Campus-Wide General Election: April 27 - May 2, 2026, election results to be released on May 8, 2026.

Minimum requirements:
-Maintain at least a 2.0 minimum GPA during time in office.
-Must complete minimum of 3 semester units within SDCCD and have majority of units at Miramar College.
-Available to attend all ASG meetings on Fridays 9am-11am.
-Must participate in shared governance meetings and complete 3 office hours per week.
Committee assignments are open to all Miramar College students, regardless of holding office. Check out our internal ASG Standing Committees and the various college-wide Shared Governance Committees here.
Each Associated Student Chartered Club or Organization is required to send a representative to ASG general meetings in order to receive funding from the ASG treasury. Each student organization is led by a Board of Executives and may offer other officer positions as well. Contact your student organization or club advisor to see which positions need to be filled.
