Vik Kachoria, Founder, President & CEO of Spike Aerospace, is leading the development of the world’s first quiet supersonic jet, the Spike S-512. The luxurious, state-of-the-art aircraft cuts travel times in 1/2 so passengers can enjoy more destinations.

A physicist and mathematician with an MBA, Kachoria has had a diverse and successful career in technology and finance. Early in his career he conducted antiparticle research, wrote software for quasar simulations, built a scale maglev train and designed mass drivers for asteroid mining. He then worked at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama and GE Aircraft Engines, Lynn, MA. Mr. Kachoria later started a company building solar panels for water irrigation before starting, building and successfully selling two more technology ventures in CAD and communications. He went on to 10 years in boutique investment banking, mergers & acquisitions and corporate development. Returning to his passion for aerospace, he has consulted on a number of new ventures in space elevators, air taxis services, sub-orbital rockets and solar power satellites. In total, Mr. Kachoria has 35 years of entrepreneurial and executive experience in aerospace and investment banking for Fortune 50 and high growth ventures.

In addition to leading Spike Aerospace, Mr. Kachoria serves as an advisor / investor in several early stage technology companies. Vik left a desert village in India with his family to take a 737 to London at 3 years of age and has since become a world traveler having visited 38 countries. He received his pilot’s license at 17 and is working towards his commercial rating. Kachoria studied at MIT Sloan School of Management and Boston University, has an MBA and a BA in Physics and Mathematics.

He is interested in desalination, wave, solar and hydrogen energy generation, aerospace, aviation, space exploration, photography, art, travel and pop-rock music. Used to do a lot of hiking, biking and skiing.
