RECRUITMENT

PRIMARY RECRUITMENT REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Primary Recruitment is a recruitment process that takes place in the Spring term each academic year. This recruitment process consists of four rounds: open-invite, philanthropy, sisterhood, and preference. All 22 National Panhellenic Sororities on IU's campus participate in primary recruitment, so this is a great way to get to know all chapters on our campus.

Primary Recruitment Begins on January 4th, 2024

Dear PNMs,

We are so grateful to meet you so soon in the formal recruitment process. Although this may be something unfamiliar, we should tell you that we are just as nervous as you are! Remember to be yourself and be open-minded about what this process can show you about yourself, but also what you can show our Panhellenic community. Take a deep breath, and know that you will be home no matter where you end up.

Open Invite

January 4 - 5, 2024

Open Invite events will be held virtually via Zoom. Each party will be 20 minutes with a 10-minute break between each party. PNMs will attend all 22 parties, during which chapters will provide a presentation as well as a Door Chant Video to welcome in the PNMs.

Philanthropy & Service

January 6 - 7, 2024

Invitational parties will be held in-person at chapter facilities or in campus buildings. Each event will be 40 minutes with a 20-minute break between each party. PNMs will attend a maximum of 16 parties; chapters will recruit 16-19 parties in order to accommodate smaller event sizes.

Sisterhood

January 12 - 13, 2024

Invitational events will be held in-person at chapter facilities or in campus buildings. Each event will be 55 minutes with a 20-minute break between each party. PNMs will attend a maximum of 9 parties; chapters will recruit 9-12 parties in order to accommodate smaller event sizes.

Preference

January 14, 2024

Invitational events will be held in-person at chapter facilities or in campus buildings. Each event will be 70 minutes with a 20-minute break between each party. PNMs will attend a maximum of 2 parties; chapters will recruit 3-5 parties in order to accommodate smaller event sizes.
