My name is Efrat Arielle Peleg, and I have taught art to children, teenagers, and adults in multicultural, often multi-age learning communities in Japan, the US, and Israel. My approach emphasizes process, curiosity, and hands-on exploration, while honoring the diverse cultural backgrounds, languages, and experiences of students.Â
Lessons are designed to be developmentally responsive and flexible, allowing students of different ages and abilities to work side by side while engaging at their own level. I focus on building confidence through making, encouraging experimentation, and supporting each learner in developing their own unique visual language.
In my classes and workshops, students explore drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, and mixed media.
Alongside regular studio lessons, I design and lead special art events and community-based projects, including exhibitions, seasonal art days, and collaborative installations. These experiences help young artists see their work as meaningful and connected to a wider community.
Across all ages, my goal is to create an inclusive art environment where learners and artists feel safe to take creative risks, learn from one another, and express who they are through art.
