About me:
I am a Communication PhD student at the Department of Communication (UC Davis), advised by Prof. Martin Hilbert who has been a guiding light in acedamic development. Previously, I had the pleasure to worked with Dr. Juho Kim as fulltime research scientist for KIXLAB at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) for 2 years.
I am interested in understanding people's perception of AI agents around them . The work involves finding out the relationships between users behavior patterns and various factors such as preexisting biases, platform affordances, content, personal characteristics etc. Long term goal of my work is to enhance collaborative learning and meaningful engagement of humans with AI.

Emotion Analysis through Context Understanding: We developed a "scenario based" approach that focuses on created such situation with dominant emotion, using a set of context information from sensor data. Verification of each scenario is done when application detect the scenario and asks user to tag his/her current prevailing emotion.

Hobbies:
I enjoy reading and writing short stories, sketching, and trying different foods. Apart from these I love travelling. Some of the countries I have travelled so far are South Korea, Vietnam, USA and Maldives.
