Directing a team of incredible dressers, and coordinating countless quick changes truly made for some best-days-ever. With over 300 costume pieces, we were always busy, and constantly had a new problem to solve.

It was incredible to work with a talented team of costumers to bring this show to life. Doing research into the period, and facilitating fittings was exciting for me. 

Working exclusively with shoes gave me a whole new perspective on all sorts of new mediums. Polishing, buffing, painting, repairing, fitting, and altering shoes was a whole new world - and I loved it.

Working with this team backstage gave me a deeper understanding of the community that can be formed in the wings. The changes were fast and furious, but we always made it work. I love the fast-paced dynamic of the dressing world, and I would only do that if I could.

How ambitious can a somewhat resourceful designer get? I loved this script, I loved the cast, and I loved what they offered to me as a designer. 

This was a massive test for me as a theatre artist. It was a long, and wonderful process to guide this musical to get where it needed to be.

Old Man Sallow was my entrance into the world of design. I'm incredibly proud and grateful for this beautiful production.
