Shoe Horn & Stand
Shoe Horn & Stand
More than 40 years ago, Hashino Produced his first wooden shoe horn and has been making these beautiful household items with long, smooth curves ever since. While it is fashioned from extremely strong wood, the shoe horn itself feels incredibly light; meanwhile, the stand is dense, solidly carved and features a rich grain pattern that reveals the true beauty of the rare hardwood tree from which it is made. In 2005, the Imperial Household Agency bought one of these signature pieces for the Emperor of Japan. Since then, three more sets of Hashino’s shoe horns have also been stocked at the prestigious Nara Hotel where the Emperor regularly stays.
