RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

up to 3:30 minutes each for the vocal formations and soloists.
up to 4:30 minutes for the rest.

*In case of the performances, exceeding the up-mentioned duration, the Jury will cease the performance

COMPETITION CATEGORIES

Vocal soloists and vocal groups - folklore and pop;

Dance groups (contemporary, classical ballet, folklore, stylized dance, break, hip hop);

Majorettes (baton and pompon);

Brass, symphonic, percussion and folklore orchestras- children’s, youth and student;

Choirs - children’s, youth and student;

AGE GROUPS

SOLOISTS

I^-st age group – up to 7 years old.

II^-nd age group – from 8 to 10 years old

III^-th age group – from 11 to 14 years old

IV^-th age group – from 15 to 18 years old

V^-th age group – from 19 to 35 years old

VOCAL FORMATIONS, INSTRUMENTALISTS, CHOIRS,DANCE FORMATIONS

I^-st age group – up to10 years old

II^-nd age group – from 11 to 13 years old

III^-th age group – from 14 to 18 years old

IV^-th age group – from 19 to 35 years old

(Formations over 35 years old do not participate in the competition, but only in the festival program)

ORCHESTRAS

I – ^st age group – School orchestras – up to 18 years old

II-^nd age group- Student orchestras – over 19 years old

REGISTRATION AND GENERAL CONDITIONS

DEADLINE – 10 MAY 2018, after this date applications will be accepted only at the discretion of the organizers.

THE REGISTRATION for participation in the festival, MUST INCLUDE:

Correctly filled application form.
Detailed list with the dates of birth and the passport data of the participants and the accompanying persons.
Brief artistic biography, 2 photos, audio and video materials, demonstrating the artistic level of the candidates.
A signed declaration which they grant the rights on the AUDIO and VIDEO recordings for the aims of the festival.
The instrumentals ди accompanying music of performances must be sent no later than 30 days before the start of the festival.

The materials have to be sent to the following e-mail: karnolsky@abv.bg with subject „WE XXI-^st CENTURY”.

The leaders of the delegations are responsible for the life, health and behavior of members of delegations during their stay at the festival, and also for costumes, stage properties and belongings.

Discounts for participation in the international art festivals organized by Art Center Karnolsky – “Magia Italiana”, “We ХХI-^st Century”, “Orpheus in Italy“ and others.

Invitations for participation in international festivals and competitions in Italy, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Macedonia, Serbia, Switzerland and many others.

*The members of the Jury and the organizers reserve the right to judge who will participate in GALA concert and what kind of performances will be presented

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS

219 € FOR CHILDREN /up to 16 years*/

239 € FOR ADULTS

* Children who had turned 16 years before the Festival /born before 16.08.2002/,

are considered adults.

THE AMOUNT IS FOR ONE PERSON AND INCLUDES:

Accommodation in hotel ** (7 nights) into rooms with 3 beds and private bathroom.

Feeding FB - 3 times at day (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

Special conditions: Group over 20 persons – the 21-st person /the leader/ will be accommodated for free for the period of the Festival, 22- nd and 23- th /leaders/ will pay the price for children up to 16 years old.

ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT: IF YOU APPLY FOR THE FESTIVAL AND PAY 40 EURO FOR EACH PERSON COMING BEFORE 31.01.2018 YOU WILL GET 5% DISCOUNT.

EXTRA PAYMENTS

Extra night: 22 EURO for children up to 16 years,

25 EURO for adults per person per day;

Single room: 24 EURO per room per day;

Double room: 14 EURO per room per day;

COMPETITION FEES

Soloists - 60 Euro per person.

Small formations: duet – 60 Euro, trio – 75 Euro.

Formations / 4 -8 persons/ - 100 Euro per formation.

Formations /9 -15 persons / - 150 Euro per formation.

Formations /16 -20 persons / - 200 Euro per formation.

Formations more than 20 persons – 230 Euro per formation.

!!! Formations over 35 years old pay 8 Euro per person – festival fee.

!!!The participants who are not accomodating with us must pay additionally 50 % of the participation fee.

AS FOLLOWS:

By 15.05. 2018 year - 30% of the calculated sum.

!!! Together with the first advance payment it is necessary to send us list with full name, date of birth and passport detailes of all participants and accompanying persons coming to the festival.

By 15.07 2018 year - 70% of the calculated sum / the rest amount/.

*As confirmation of the bank transfer, send us a scanned copy of the bank document with the name of the participant and “We XXI-^st century” to the following e-mail: karnolsky@abv.bg

ATTENTION! The advance payment of 30% of the amount serves like reservation in the hotels and it is not refundable in case the participant/s fail/s to come to the festival due to circumstances beyond organizers’ control.

TRANSPORT

Every participant should take care of the transport to the places of accommodation and back, to the places of festival activities / parades, concerts and others/ and back. The Organizers can provide the transport for the groups coming by plane by picking them up from airport, during the festival days and back to the same airport. The cost of the transportation will be covered by the group and will be additionally discussed according to their number.
