This interactive workshop or lecture presentation is targeted at secondary school students. Sessions feature guest professionals in different fields of the Creative Arts. Participants are engaged through demonstrations; slide presentations, site visits etc., as professionals define and illustrate their craft, and outline their course of study (formal and/or informal).
It has been noted that the average person is unaware of the range of career options that exists for those who pursue studies of the Arts. Annexed to this is the lack of information about areas of study that are offered at varying institutions locally, regionally, and internationally, and programs that the young Arts Student may access. Presenting the work of successful practitioners in varied fields would stimulate participants, especially young learners, to think beyond the careers that are generally proffered for the arts-inclined. These sessions are structured to raise participants’ awareness of what is available and stimulate them to chase their dreams.
Special Feature
