The lady and the ship represent two different, complementary aspects of ourselves, the spiritual and the physical. The ship is the material force; the physical vessel, anchored, imperfect, and raw. Sailing blindly, unaware of the water's undertow. The Lady represents the lighthouse; our spirit, inner knowing, and temple within. The Lady's lamp is ever burning as her gaze follows you through deep and treacherous waters, and if ever you lose her in the night, she will wade out from the shore and seek you out. Taming the tempests and creatures of the sea, the lady casts out all shadow, bringing with her the dawn.
“Gemini is the desert hawk, the dancing bird of the zodiac; She shakes her feathered shoulders in defiance of stagnation and apathy, cleansing her space with each of her hypnotic ballets. The spirit has no bones, for her body is made of sand. Her life is the sacred art of dance, performing a ritual to guide her through the labyrinth of life."

"Remember the Sunset" is a painting of one of those "perfect summer nights," capturing the feeling of falling in love while watching a sunset with someone special. The ripped black spots represent the bittersweet nature of memory—the joy of looking back, while balancing the pain of its heartbreak. This painting evokes the nostalgic emotions tied to this night, making the viewer feel both the deep beauty and the ache of a moment held dear, lost in time.

The Lady in the Moon depicts a giant astral entity—the embodiment of the raw, untamed spirit of feminine divinity. Her power isn't desperate or searching, and she has nothing to prove. Watery and peaceful, she rests and floats through the streams of all things, using her body as a channel to feel deeply connecting to her true power. This work isn't about conventional beauty or over-sexualization; she's vulnerable and naked, yet not nude in a posed sense for the viewer.
Through this figure, I explore the provocative power that comes from truly accepting one's body, tapping into our innate instincts and intuitive energy. She represents the moon—a potent symbol of intuition, cycles, and the subconscious—embodying a universal connection that transcends the need for verbal assertion.

An operatic work of art, capturing the feel of an An aquatic Shakespeare playing out all at once. The Sistine Marine is heavily inspired by lost city of Atlantis and a depiction of a Greek after life dwelling in both the sky and in the sea. The pastel pallet creates a dreamlike feel, tossing and turning the viewer as if it were a wave or currant. She's gently moving, breathing, washing in and out, calling to you like a siren to the sea.

“The Night Garden”, is a metaphysical depiction of the invisible energy exchange between flowers and plant life on a hot summer's night. The smudges of color represent technicolored pollen and the vibrational dialogue in the air. These psychedelic floral figures invite you beyond the material, pulling back the veil from their seemingly small kingdom to reveal the spirit of this vibrant, interconnected ecosystem.

"At the Crossroads" is a dreamy depiction of Kansas City, seeped with memory and the hard, sometimes dark reality of "making it" in the city. The grit and the passion you get for your art when you can barely find the time is like no other. It gave me the strength to go on, remembering those days in the restaurant and how badly I dreamt of simply having the time to paint.
This piece was painted on an old work uniform, stretched over a frame to keep its shape. The shirt was from my first and only server job at a fancy Thai restaurant. The painting depicts the streets that ran over that restaurant and the dark alleyways I had to walk to find parking. In the top corner are the jumbled server's notes taken during a rush, and in the center, the woman drinking a cup of coffee is the woman I dreamt of being during those hard days—not a care in the world.

The combination of eccentricity and sensuality paired with feminine rage, personal power and self defense.
I can’t control the world, I can only control how I respond to it. I’m not going to spend the rest of my life hiding, there is no such thing as being "too" much
We must balance our self expression and protection so that we can cultivate a safe space to be a free without the fear of "drawing too much attention" A space within ourself biult on trust and liberation.
Our bodies are the blueprints of our souls; gestures, energy, and even the lines of our hands become language. Using the human figure and the timeless symbol of a single pose, our bodies become totems—passed down from the beginnings of this earth, holding the keys to creation itself.

"The Study of smoke, learning the universal lines of nature, emphasizing allowance rather than control"
This painting marks the beginning of my journey in taking art more seriously as a career. Fresh out of high school with no plans for college, I found myself without direction.
Initially, I approached this piece with the mindset of selling it, but I quickly felt the weight of external expectations—what art "should" be and how its value is determined by others. This is a common yet significant mistake many artists make, especially early in their careers. After all, how can you discover your own style if you start by creating for others instead of yourself?
Once I let go of the idea of selling this piece, I truly embraced the beauty of creation. I wanted to capture the movement of smoke, burning incense painting it live, memorizing the shape and flow of each wisp before it disappeared into the air. Through this process, I gained a deeper appreciation for the organic, unpredictable nature of smoke. I learned to let each line follow its own path. Allowing it to be natural instead of just looking natural, those are two very different things.
"The inspiration for this piece was my deep love for pattern and the wisdom tree hold. If you are ever feeling anxious look at how peaceful trees are, even in a storm. They are never anxious to get somewhere else. They only focus on being in that moment, watching the squirls chase each other, bending gently in the wind, feeling everything grow ever so slowly stretching up into the sky. They also hold the universal pattern in their limbs and in their roots as everything comes into one at the base and extending out into everything" -Aubrey 2022

"Visions of a vagabond, wake up before the Dawn, As Silence strings the world along
Burning ember, whispering flame, every mountain will know my name
Darkened Stars forbidden Night, I light a candle out of sight
Before I go, you should know...
I do not speak to respond, I follow the visions of the vagabond
Where the rivers melt to snow and my dreams taste like indigo" - Aubrey
