Group 4's final stage is a play on a dystopian reality where the state of the earth is headed. We are taking a political approach to our virtual stage by exaggerating the effects of mass production and climate change on an interactive micro-scale. Starting with multiple dancers surrounded by trash and debris to demonstrate the effects of overconsumption. As the play goes on, the viewer transitions to a new stage that has rain and floods to represent natural disasters like hurricanes for example. We wanted to add a light element using multiple fire assets. The final stage that the viewer will interact with will be Kirby Crossing on fire to symbolize global warming. We believe ending with the fire stage will give the viewer a chance to reflect on the message of global warming we are hoping to convey through our augmented reality theater experience.
Virtual Stage Process
Group four's process as a group was for three of them, each to create a virtual stage where the theatre would be held in. Each stage would represent a new environment for the viewer. Whenever the viewer would move they would be guided to different points on the stage. They each had a certain theme they all followed to make their stages connect and be cohesive as a group and for the viewer's pleasure. First Bryan's stage consisted of trash and miscellaneous items that were abandoned and fog to make the environment feel more vacant. Second Cyn's stage has huge abandoned buildings with lots of foliage to showcase the dystopian abandoned future, with flooded grounds and a constant rain above. Lastly, Max's stage is Kirby crossing, but with more foliage, but still looks a lot different because of it entirely being engulfed in flames.
They also added dancers to their stages for the viewer to watch while walking around each stage. They would appear before them once they crossed a certain point and they would appear in the sky dancing hauntingly. Each stage had their own dancers dancing on different parts of the stage so it's always changing. Each member chose different dancer footage for each of their stages edited them to become see through and look like the dancers are floating on the stage we each created.
At end, all the stages are connected on the same theme of the dire state of the world being enhanced while also being a show for the viewer to experience.

Poster Process
Lauren Kohls was responsible for doing the poster art. She knew she wanted to incorporate all three stages in a dramatic way. The image on the left was the concept art she drew during class. The top displays Bryan's stage, the middle portion is Cyn's, and the bottom represents Max's. The art was done on an iPad Pro using ProCreate.
First Person Experience
Audience Experience and Message
Group 4's goal was for the audience to experience the dire state of the world of climate change and mass production on a micro scale. They want the audience to see and experience what life would be like if the world keeps heading towards the wrong direction and destroys the planet. They get to experience it but with a dramatic twist with the added dancers.
That is also their message. They want the audience to be enlightened to the true tragedies, everyone on the planet is currently facing. This can help people understand what we do carries big consequences and hopefully this helps people realize what they can do to change to help our planet and lives.
Final Thoughts
Group 4 were all able to push through the struggles they had and all helped each other as group as much they can to create what they think is their best work with that they had to work with. They hope the audience can see the effort they put in for the viewer to experience their powerful message.
