Great River Road Run
The Great River Road Run offers a 10 mile race and a 5k which gives runners the option of a long distance endurance run or something shorter to test your speed or even for all the walkers and stroller pushers. The race is run on the Great River Road, it is an out and back on the southbound lanes of the river road. It is a beautifully scenic run with the amazing bluffs on one side and the mighty Mississippi river on the other. Come and enjoy!

The 10 mile and the 5k start at 10:00am, race day registration and packet pick up are located at Mac's Time Out Lounge, 315 Belle St. Alton, IL 62002 it begins a 8:00am. There is parking available at several city parking lots and some spots available on the streets. Dress accordingly for the weather, it can be very pleasant and then sometimes it is cold and damp. It is an Alton tradition, this is the 63rd running, come enjoy it with us!
