Myself Arpan Deyasi

Dr. Arpan Deyasi is presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, INDIA. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in academia and industry. His work spans around in the field of semiconductor nanostructure and semiconductor photonics.  He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed research papers and edited 11 books, and 1 in press.  He has completed five funded projects as P.I/Co-P.I. He has already served as technical consultants of various industrial projects. He is associated with different International and National Conferences in various aspects, and also serving as  Guest Editor of a few renowned journals. He is senior member of IEEE, Chair of IEEE Electron Device Society (Kolkata Chapter), Fellow of IE(I), IETE, ISVE etc. He along with his research group received so far 7 times best paper award in various conferences of repute.

In his Institute, He has served as IQAC Coordinator along with Convener of IIC and NAAC. At present, he is serving as SPOC of several MOOC courses and activities. He has been awarded NPTEL Domain Scholar in Photonics and Faculty Level - Advanced (Pedagogy) and also earned a few NPTEL STAR credentials. He has also served as In-charge of Central Library of the Institute in different times, and serving now as President of NDLI Club in RCCIIT. He has also the responsibility of Faculty Adviser of the student chapter of The Institution of Engineers (INDIA) in ECE Department at RCCIIT. His own e-learning portal consists of several video lectures (YouTube channel) and presentations (SlideShare).
