Arm in Arm is always finding new ways to promote diversity and inclusivity within the community. Stay updated and make sure to add our event calendar to your personal planner!
The Cooking Club continues this year visiting the food of more countries. Each month, we’ll highlight a different country or region. Members can check out a cookbook, try a recipe at home, and bring a dish to share at our community potluck. Together, we’ll learn about the food, culture, and stories that bring people together from our own residents of different cultural backgrounds. Cookbooks for each country are made available by the library staff.
Whether you bring your whole family or come on your own, this is about connection, discovery, and good food. Come to one gathering or join us all year—it’s up to you!

Author Visit: Autumn Allen
October 30, Harvard Public Library
Arm in Arm, in collaboration with the Harvard School’s Trust, Warner Free Lectures, and the Harvard Public Library, invites you to a powerful evening with author Autumn Allen.
Together, we’ll explore her work and engage in an open community conversation about the realities of racism in the United States—past, present, and future.
This is more than just an author talk—it’s an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect as a community.
November 2
Join Arm in Arm for a unique opportunity to visit both a Synagogue and a Mosque in the same day. Together, we’ll learn more about these two rich Abrahamic faith traditions, hear from community members, and deepen our understanding of what connects us.
More information to follow soon.
