#55 will "wild bill" ransom
Will joined club baseball during the fall of his sophomore year at Arkansas in 2021. After playing in the fall of 2020 at UW-Platteville he sustained an injury and decided to transfer to Arkansas to be closer to home. Will couldn't quite hang up the cleats just yet and looked for ways to play again, first with the Northwest Arkansas Men's Baseball League and eventually Arkansas Club Baseball.
During his first season ('21-'22), Will was given the role of Vice President. After the '21-'22 season, Will took on the role of President after seeing the club needed leadership to steer the program in the right direction. Under his tenure the club amassed a record of 33-10, a massive change from years prior due to increased membership and talent.
Ransom had a remarkable career as a two-way player netting himself a career. 321 average and a .894 OPS over 53 at bats. He was a staple of the Hogs' starting rotation with a career 3.18 ERA striking out 62 batters over 53.1 innings pitched. To finish career during the Fall of 2024, Will tossed 9.2 scoreless innings out of 13.2 with 14 strikeouts and landing a 2.05 ERA.
Over his 3.5-year tenure, Will played a key role in transforming a directionless team into a competitive force in the NCBA D2, achieving national recognition. As a methodical leader, he ensured his team was well-prepared to face challenges that laid ahead of them.

#19 Alex "Ilgy" Ilgenfritz
Alex joined club baseball during the fall of his freshman year at Arkansas in 2020. He was apart of the De Smet Jesuit High School team that won the state championship in 2019. Alex's senior season was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19 and missed out on the chance to defend De Smet's state title. Alex began at Arkansas in the Fall of 2020 and rushed the Kappa Sigma fraternity in spring '21.
After the '21-'22 season Alex was brought on as the new Vice President alongside an entirely new leadership group. Through his efforts the club was put back on track and he had an exciting '22-'23 season hitting for a .317 average and .710 OPS. He led the Hogs on the mound with a 1.75 ERA striking out 47 over 24 innings of work.
In the '23-'24 season, Ilgy had a .346 AVG and a .836 OPS. Once again, Alex had the chance to lead the Hogs to a deep post season run, but the Hogs were cut short in the Great American Regional.
Alex was one of the most influential players the club has ever seen. He was the Hogs' primary shortstop for 3 years and was always a consistent player through out all 4 years of college. More importantly Ilgy was a great teammate and a good friend who was always there to pick up his teammates and keep them focused on the task at hand.

#3 Nolan Carroll
Nolan joined club baseball during his junior year at Arkansas. After being away from the game since his senior year of high school, he'd found club baseball through a tryout announcement and made his way back into the game. Out the gate he was a fierce competitor and tried to get a glove on every ball that was hit his way, sacrificing his body for the sake of the team.
After the '21-'22 season Nolan was brought on as the treasurer alongside an entirely new leadership group. With his efforts the club was put on the right track and had an exciting '22-'23 season. Sadly the season ended on an umpire scheduling error resulting in the Arkansas club team having their chance of going to Regionals and maybe the World Series snagged from them.
Nolan always gave 110% no matter what situation he was in. He never once complained about where he was placed in the line up and never cared about what condition the infield was in.
