Back in my B.Tech. days, Prof. Jayanta K. Chandra was the one who initially ignited my interest in physiological signal processing. I began working with him on the topic of "Extracting Respiratory Effort from the Surface Cardiovascular Signal: Photopleythesmogram". Later, he introduced me to Prof. Rajarshi Gupta, and I worked as a research intern on a DBT-funded project titled, "Development of Low-cost Point‐of‐Care Technology for Early Screening of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) for Remote Population of West Bengal", Sanction No.-15(sanc)/ST/P/S&T/6G-6/2018 DTD: 29/01/2019 under their guidance. As a result of which, we published a research paper in IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement. From that moment on, my goal of becoming a researcher began.
I have completed my Ph.D. at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna as a Prime Minister's Research Fellow (PMRF), under the supervision of Dr. Udit Satija.
