Biomedical Measurements and Intelligent Health Monitoring Systems Lab was established from the Special Assistance program (SAP) of Departmental Research Support (DRS)-phase-II (2015-2020) under University Grants Commission (UGC) India in the year 2015, with the thematic area: Intelligent Health Monitoring.

Four more government funded research projects are/ were associated with this lab which involves health monitoring systems development and cardiovascular parameters measurements. Seven faculty members from different institutions, and six PhD research scholars are attached with this lab. Till date, the aggregated funding with this lab is around INR 70 lakhs+.

The research infrastructure of this lab has been developed with government funding. This lab is iopen to collaborations from interetsted researchers. Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral students interetsted in research in the area of biomedical signal analysis and health monitoring may utilize the research infrastruture for short-term internships, summar projects, PhD works and projects (collaborative) with proper formalities.
