I had the loveliest stay at A&R Hacienda! Every detail of the house was perfectly in place, from the holiday decorations to the kitchen and bathroom amenities, to the welcome basket with so many helpful pamphlets (and snacks!). Spotlessly clean in every room, and incredibly comfortable and cozy. I definitely want to come back in warmer months for a longer stay to enjoy the backyard as well! I’m originally from Sullivan County and it was so great to see how much vibrancy is coming to the area. A&R Hacienda is the perfect option for families or friends to have as a beautiful home base while exploring the area. Roy and Axel have gone above and beyond and I can’t recommend their hacienda enough!!!

Highly recommend! You can tell all the love and pride put into this home. We are so lucky Roy and Axel shared their beautiful home with us. From the moment walking in, you feel at home. The home is extremely cozy and the welcome gifts/information booklets were wonderful. The house has everything you could need for your stay - comfortable beds, kitchen amenities, charging stations, games to play, etc. We spent our evening playing the games and sitting in the living room (lots of seating!). The town of Callicoon is just a short walk, which is a nice town with great food and drinking options. We only have great things to say about the home and also the hosts -- they were extremely responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. Book your stay - you won't regret it!
