Argos Chapter

of the

Izaak Walton League of America

Welcome to the Argos Chapter

of the Izaak Walton League of America!

Argos Ikes (as Chapter members are called) enjoy planting trees with students; kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boating; and helping get kids outdoors and away from their electronics. We are looking at getting into youth archery, getting our fish hatchery back, and doing adopt-a-road. Over the previous years we have sponsored two kids to go to the IWLA camp. All of our members enjoy our spring clean-up and just being at the Argos Ikes for a relaxing and enjoyable time in nature.

Monthly Meetings

Our monthly meetings, held at 12 noon on the first Sunday of the month, are open to the public. Join us at our historic chapter house: 7184 16th Road in Argos.

"I would like to say thank you for the best Father's Day fishing tournament ever!! Really beautiful ponds and a nice place to take any age kids to learn to fish. I would recommend anyone who loves to fish, and watch their kids catch fish after fish, to go check it out."
