Hello and Welcome to my website. This website is dedicated for large numbers and some notations that are related to them. I will collect all functions and notations, as well as my notations here and -illions (resurrected after 4 years)
(work in progress)
This notation marks the introduction of all functions that we will encounter later, as most of the functions and notations are derived from this notation (especially chained arrow). So, this notation is helpful for beginners to understand large numbers and how to express them.
Note: this page actually highlights the history behind the 2 famous large numbers, and become a backbone of googology. Also, in this page, there are also extensions of these numbers, including changing bases, or multiple -plexes, or even new notations, which I'll explain in the later sections and chapters.
Here, there are multiple -illions that are used in real life. Of course, there are extensions to it.
For beginners, this function is helpful to understand how it works. Same goes to Bird's array notation, but I will highlight the differences between these functions later. Note: this part of the notation goes up to linear arrays.
Here are the list of the numbers coined by me and others, including some existing notations. (note: over 50,000 of them, mainly ExE numbers!!)
There, I linked to all websites that are related to googology.
