About BE ABUNDANT:
Grief is a journey that expands who we are and how we continue living in the face of deep loss. A Resting Place believes when a death or separation happens, we no longer remain the same person. Experiencing death changes the way we understand our own identities, purpose, and desires. At A Resting Place we recognize that grief expands our capacity to be in relationship as it invites us to reimagine integrative and meaningful ways to continue and strengthen our connection with the dead and living.
A Resting Place invites our community to BE ABUNDANT in this journey of grief. For us, BE ABUNDANT means offering a physical space in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District where Asian American, Black, brown, indigenous, and queer/trans immigrants can explore and define what death, afterlife, mourning, means to us. At A Resting Place we uplift BEing ABUNDANT by encouraging grievers to sit and cultivate a relationship with their grief so that it can be transformed and nurtured.
Our BE ABUNDANT Spring giving campaign will run May 4th-June 13th. Throughout our campaign, we will be sharing out various updates and ARP news. Keep a look out!
BE ABUNDANT today by joining A Resting Place as we launch our Spring Giving Campaign. We ask our community to support us by donating today!
