At UNC Greensboro we use Instructure's Arc through Canvas as an interactive video solution for online learning, which allows instructors and students to comment directly on a video's timeline, in real time. Arc is a communication tool that allows instructors and students to actively collaborate through video in all elements of Canvas with a Rich Content Editor.
This website will give you an inside look at how the UNC Greensboro School of Education (SOE) is using this tool to provide students with an interactive video feedback experience. There are a variety of ways to incorporate this tool in a course, and on this website, you will see a brief introduction to the versatility of Arc and see examples of how SOE faculty are utilizing this tool to share their own videos, videos from YouTube, and to create video screen captures.
*This Canvas tool is not available for free. To access Arc in Canvas you must have a subscription to the service.
