There is different definition of art for everyone; for some it is passion, for some it is essence of life and for some it is elixir of life. Everyone is not gifted with artistic sense and therefore art and creativity committee gives platform to art lovers to express their creativeness and students can explore more innovative ideas. The garden of art and creativity committee provides an atmosphere where flower of student’s creativity can blossom.

Two years back committee was created and was entitled as creativity committee, but title was changed into Art & creativity committee by our senior from the previous year.

This year we have arranged different competition. In the starting of the year we had Mobile photography competition in which students have presented photographs which they have clicked through their mobile phones. There was no theme and yes Photoshop was not allowed. Winners were given prize. Then we had Rangoli competition in the first week of February. We didn't kept any themes or rules so that students can make Rangoli in their own way without any restrictions.

Students made Rangoli out of various kind of materials like, clay, water, flower, leaves, wooden waste, broken pieces of glass, sand, stones, grass, cello tape, vegetables etc. Such kind of competitions allows students to think out of the box and gives opportunity to sprout in explicit domain.

I would like to thank our Head of the Department Pro. Dilip Barad sir for allowing us to do such activities and yes of course my committee members Ajit kaliya, Alpa Ponda and Kiran Vora for their support. I hope this effort by our seniors and by us would be carried forward by upcoming batches in upcoming years.
