Archery is an extremely safe sport but comes with real risks of injury, damage, and even death if safety procedures are not followed by it's participants. Archery Only is proud to declare that we have had no serious injuries at our range in our over 37 years of service to the local community. With that in mind, our staff are mandated by both our business policies, and our associated certification organizations (USA Archery, National Field Archery Association, etc.) to place safety above all else, and will remove customers from the shooting area if deemed necessary to maintain a safe and calm environment for everyone present at the range. All present parties, even if not actively participating in classes or other range use, are required to follow through with all verbal safety commands from staff members, adhere to posted range rules, and maintain a calm and mature attitude while participating in classes or otherwise visiting the range. Coaching staff have the final discretion as to allowed and prohibited behaviors on the range in order to maintain the safe and calm environment.

Please review all course information & requirements BEFORE registering for lessons. Course requirements are in-place to ensure participants have the best experiences in their classes, and are usually non-negotiable per our business policies, insurance, and USA Archery instructor guidelines and policies. It is your responsibly if you enroll in a course that you are not eligible for, and it will be up to the coach's discretion on whether to allow your enrollment in the course or not based on various factors such as prior experience and equipment needs. Our academy minimum age is 8+ years old for introductory level classes, and 13+ years old for intermediate and advanced courses, though archers ages 11+ may attend intermediate courses with with additional requirements and written coach approval given BEFORE enrollment. Please contact a coach prior to enrollment if you have any questions about your eligibility for our higher-level intermediate or advanced courses, or which class option may be best for you. Even if you've shot elsewhere before, it is highly recommended for all first-time visitors to Archery Only to enroll in an introductory level class before taking higher level options. All classes are only taught in ENGLISH, unless seperate plans are made with your coaching staff, so a working proficiency of English, or your own provided language translator, is required to participate in our Academy programs for safety and the best experience.

When you arrive for class, look for posted signs around the range area detailing where you need to go, or check-in with a staff member. You will need to read & sign the in-person waiver, which is different from our online/range rental waiver,. Classes will start exactly on-time, or when at least half of the total registered parties are present, and cannot go past the scheduled end time. Please plan to come at least 5-10 minutes early if possible due to changing traffic and railroad conditions around the area. All classes start on-time, or once half of the registered parties are present if it is past the posted start time. If bringing your own equipment, please come 15-20 minutes early if you need help setting it up. Bow tuning, fitting, or purchasing is not included in your class time.
