Kevin Chen

Urban Studies and Planning Major, Data Science Minor
Kevin hopes to create architecture that makes cities more livable and sustainable by focusing on user experience and landscape architecture. He has previously worked on creating site plan diagrams and renderings for last year’s Campus Redesign Project. His skills include SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, ArcGIS, and Photoshop. This year, he co-lead the team as Project Manager.
Eliana (Eli) Rodriguez
2nd Year
Cognitive Science Major: Behavioral Neuroscience Specialization
Architecture became an interest for Eli when she began to notice how significant space design is for influencing what you feel when you see or be in that space. This interest in creating spaces that follow function and feeling has led her to contribute to the CRP team for 2 years. This year, she co-lead the team as Project Manager and designed the project webpage.
Obadiah Valdez
3rd Year
Urban Studies and Planning Major
Obadiah hopes to use urban planning and architecture to change cities for the common pedestrian. He previously worked on the site planning and modeling team for last year's Campus Redesign project. His skills include Sketchup, Photoshop, and ArcGIS.

Minwoo's project ambitions lie in creating a cohesive and well thought-out project that contributes to the campus community in a new and exciting way. His project contributions include SketchUp, site planning, and mapping transportation pathways.
Yushi Xu

Urban Studies and Planning & Real Estate and Development Major
Yushi's interest of architecture lies in creating distinctive buildings in spite of a range of limitations. His project experience and contributions include Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp and Procreate.
Demetri Stratigos
3nd Year
Urban Studies and Planning Major
Demitri enjoys studying how our built environment can be used to help communities foster long, healthy lives. He has experience in Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, and ArcGIS. This year, he prioritized experiential green spaces throughout the design process and helped to visualize them through sketches.
Margo Hill
2nd Year
Urban Studies and Planning Major, Environmental Studies Minor
Margo aspires to create spaces that have an emphasis on bringing people together as a community. Sustainable design that combines indoor and outdoor living is important to her as well. She is experienced with SketchUp and Inventor software and uses them to help design green open spaces in this project.
Parker Friederich
4th Year
Urban Studies and Planning Major, Real Estate and Development Minor
Parker is interested in reuniting the campus community with nature and creating places of active learning and enjoyment. He is experienced with Google Earth Pro and GIS and has working knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop. As a LEED Green Associate, he brings knowledge of site sustainability and resource conservation measures and best practices.
Adara Houlihan
1st Year
Urban Studies and Planning Major
Adara is passionate about public policy and Urban Design. Her experiences include ArcGIS, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and HomeByMe. In the planning part of the project, she studied UCSD's design guidelines and in the final stages of the project, she modeled the interior room of the second floor quiet study place.
Carissa Castro
3rd Year
Structural Engineering Major, ICAM Minor
Carissa loves to integrate structural and architectural design processes to create a cohesive project. Her project background mainly consists of creating and analyzing floor plans. She has helped research the site, the corresponding construction codes, and modeling the interior rooms of the study spaces.
Christina Taylor
3rd Year
Structural Engineering Major
As an engineer, Christina believes it's important to understand the perspective of the architect in the design process. She also believes that all engineers and architects should strive to create sustainable structures. She has experience creating floor plans with AutoCAD and used HomeByMe to create design renderings for the Treehouse.
Catherine Carrizosa
1st Year
Urban Studies and Planning Major
Catherine believes in creating spaces that are both warm and inviting and completely sustainable. Her project contributions include interior design and rendering efforts including HomebyMe.
Catherine Tang
2nd Year
Speculative Design Major
Within architecture, Catherine likes building 3D models and studying how people interact within a space. Her previous knowledge of Revit and programs like Adobe Illustrator have helped her fulfill tasks for this project as she was able to help ideate interior space and aid the team in 3D modeling.
Daniella Perez
2nd Year
Urban Studies and Planning Major
Daniella became interested in the creativity Architecture offers and her goal is to create an inviting environment for students to feel at ease and able to study in new spaces across campus. Interior design with a modern and outdoorsy feel is something she admires. She has experience in photoshop and ArcGIS.
