Adjunct lecturer at Saitama University and Tamagawa University.

My research interests lie at elucidating organisations of social actions — the way we produce, understand and deal with actions in our lifeworld.

Drawing upon ethnomethodology and conversation analysis, I examine people's ordinary methods to use language to analyse interculturality, instructions and perceptions in naturally occurring social interaction.
