Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program
The WBL Program is a unique Class that allows students to apply their classroom learning AND skills in a professional setting and gain real-world experience. Work-Based Learning provides an opportunity for seniors to start preparing for a career while still in high school. Through Work-Based Learning, students are able to earn wages while learning from skilled professionals, increase career options and future employability, strengthen academic skills, experience the connection between education and real-life work skills, credits while in high school and experience potential careers in the workplace.
Students learn what it takes to become young professionals by working with local employers in the capacity of paid positions, internships or apprenticeships.

WBL Students' Benefits:

Allow you to leave school early to WORK.
Earn class grade(s) AND 1 full credit for each period enrolled per semester. Example: Enrolled in 3 periods, that's 3 full credits for both 1st and 2nd semesters for a total of 6 credits!
Earn the EVERFI Financial Literacy AND Georgia BEST Certifications.
Basically, you are Learning While You Are EARNING a Grade and Money!
Arabia's WBL is primarily Applied for and Approved during your Junior Year with Enrollment being for your Senior Year!
