High school students visit and observe you and employees for either half a day (4 hrs) or a whole day (8 hrs). Students get the opportunity to see in action what a work environment is like, inquire about different jobs and the skills needed as well as gain a better understanding if this career is something they would like to pursue.

Field Trips/Industry Tours

Host small groups of students (15-50) with a tour of your facility, departments and equipment used in your company. So, they can see first hand the working conditions and how you serve your customers.

Guest Speaker

Come share your work experiences with students for a class period or if you would like the entire day! You will be in a related classroom subject so that you can help inform students about today’s industry trends and work expectations. Feel free to bring along a co-worker or two!

Host OR Participate in Job/Career Events

Help students explore the various career options AND prepare students for perhaps their very first job by hosting or participating in Mock Interviews, Career Day, and Job Fairs!

Mentor Students with CTSO Competitions

Our Career Technical Students Organizations-CTSOs all have local, region and state competitions in which students compete in different events. Mentors are needed to assist students in preparing for competitions. Would you like to see the students in action? Consider judging an event!

Business Donation

Arabia has some of the best students in DeKalb and it would be wonderful to be able to reward students for their accomplishments! Perhaps your business could assist with the recognition by donating a coupon for a free item or other small gift. Larger donations can also be used as a fundraiser for silent auctions, raffles, or scholarships. Items can include your business information on them.
