The main feedback that we recieved this time round is:
It was good that we used placeholders / conceptual sprites for the player, quick and easy to produce
Shift focus towards polish over new features
Good work in getting assets and mechanics into engine
Use better questions during QA testing to get more specific and applicable feedback
Consider changing real world weapon to something of a similar shape
Consider visual / audio feedback
From both their tone in the video and the main points of the feedback, it's clear that we should shift focus towards polish over new features. Content not already implemented that isn't crucial likely won't be at all, as it's clear the clients are more than happy with that so long as the product in the end is polished and enjoyable. A specific point I'd like to raise is that they aren't too concerned about audio, given that the brief does imply that the game will be showcased / played in a public place and as such with low / no audio to begin with. As such, unless we find the time we may end up with an audioless game, which is usually an awful idea but is something I'm fine with thanks to the brief.
