Apra Airsoft Trip to Ballahack 

We have been closely monitoring the weather forecast for our upcoming trip to Ballahack Airsoft, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 24th. Due to concerns about potential snow and unsafe driving conditions, we have decided to postpone the trip to next weekend, Saturday, January 31st, in the interest of everyone’s safety.

All previously shared details and logistics will remain the same, with the only change being the date.

If you have already purchased a ticket to play at Ballahack, please note that tickets are non-refundable. However, Ballahack does allow tickets to be transferred to a new date. To move your ticket to January 31st, please email admin@ballahackairsoft.com as soon as possible, as the cancellation and transfer window is closing quickly.

If you are unable to attend on the new date, we apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing you at a future Apra Airsoft meeting or event. If you were registered to travel with us and are no longer available on January 31st, please email us so we can update our registration list accordingly.

Saturday, January 31, 2026 | 5:30 AM – 9:30 PM

Limited seats are available. Registration is required to secure your spot. If you plan to travel and set up with Apra Airsoft at Ballahack, you must also register.

The Apra Airsoft caravan will depart (9208 Arcadia Dr King George VA) promptly at 6:00 AM on January 24—with or without you. Please arrive by 5:30 AM to load vehicles and attend a brief pre-departure briefing.

Games conclude at 5:30 PM, and we expect to return to the Becker residence by approximately 9:30 PM.

Please bring all gear you will need for the day. Space is limited, so pack light and keep your gear consolidated. Arrive well-fed and plan to bring lunch or money for food. Bringing extra cash for gas station stops and purchases at the Ballahack pro shop is also recommended.

Loaner equipment will NOT be provided on site.
If you require loaner gear, you must complete the loaner form and pick up your equipment before the trip to Ballahack. This includes items such as batteries, barrel bags, and face protection. Loaner equipment will not be transported with the group.

Please review the Ballahack field rules in advance.
Ballahack’s rules differ from Apra Airsoft’s and are more extensive. Eye and face protection requirements vary by age. Be sure to review their full ruleset here:

KING GEORGE FALL FESTIVAL PARADE (2026)

October 10th, 2026 720AM - 1pm

In 2024, Apra Airsoft Attended the Fall Festival Parade as a unit. Everyone had a great time engaging with members of the unit, and people in the community. This parade is a great opportunity to grow Apra Airsoft and have fun doing it. The fall festival parade is a 1 mile parade route stretching from the Elementary School corner to the Highschool in King George VA. This parade features dozens of floats, hundreds of volunteers, and thousands of spectators. The more the marrier, we need people to walk in the parade, engage with the crowds, and hand out our information! If you feel uncomfortable handing out flyers, come and walk with us, it is a great time!

Participation 

We will be riding to the parade in unit vans. All participants need to be at home base by 720 am. (NO LATE ARRIVLES, WE WILL LEAVE WITHOUT YOU!) Those driving can park at base. Those who want to can come and stay the night at home base on October 10th are more then welcome to any time after 7pm. Breakfast and Cots will be provided. Those being picked up can arrange for a ride back from home base after we return, or leave straight from the end point of the parade at the high school.

Schedule 

Friday October 10th

7:00 pm - Doors open for those wanting to stay the night instead of arriving early Saturday morning (Cots provided)

10:00 pm Lights out

Saturday October 11th

6:00 am - Rise and shine, time to get dressed and ready for the day

7:00 am - Breakfast

7:20 am - Morning arival deadline

7:30 am - Load up and depart for registration at the elementary school

8:00 am - Arrive at our float spot. Set up for the parade morning snacks

10:00 - Parade start

12:00 - Parade end at the high school. Those returning in the unit vans will have a chance to see the festival at the high school

3:00 -  Back at home base/pick up (we will likely be done before 3pm) 

Uniformity is important. We would like everyone to be wearing Milticam or Woodland cammo. If you do not have either of these, contact us and we can get you squared away. We would like to encourage everyone to wear the rest of their battle rattle. Including but not limited to, plate carriers, helmets, and battle belts. The goal is to be all decked out and ready for a game aside from weapons. ABSOLUTLY NO WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED ON SITE. No knifes, airsoft pistoles, or guns, will be permitted in the parade. Please leave these items at home.
