This poster was created for a fictitious exhibition at the Dayton Art Institute, where architect Antoni Gaudi’s work would be displayed for the Greater Dayton area to visit. While the poster only displays a mosaic sculpture from Park Guell in Barcelona, the exhibition would also have various buildings present, as are displayed in the next project.
The purpose of this poster was to, once again, show my use of layout and my skills in Illustrator. The salamander mosaic was recreated in Illustrator to showcase all of the vibrant colors throughout the mosaic, as Guadi had a keen eye for his color choices in all his work, but especially for Park Guell, which is why I had chosen to do such a complex vector graphic from this particular mosaic.
