The Department of Applied Science & Humanities is an important discipline which relies on the existing scientific knowledge to develop technology as well as gives way to explore newer horizons.
The department’s role in establishment of any Engineering College is immensely important. In order to lay a strong foundation of basic concepts in the minds of fresh entrants of various engineering disciplines, the inclusion of subjects of Applied Sciences such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Fundamental Computers/Electronics/Mechanics and Communication Skills in engineering is mandatory.
All efforts are also being made to inculcate social values and professional ethics in our students to face the current as well as future global standards. A well-qualified and competent faculty with well-equipped labs is made available to provide an excellent teaching methodology for nurturing the students into excellent engineers as well as good human beings.
To nurture and inculcate knowledge and understanding of applied science and groom the students with social, ethical and moral values so that the budding technocrats can expedite their professional growth and become a globally acceptable technical professionals.
M1: To offer a complete understanding of applied sciences so that the scientific knowledge imparted to students empowers their technical skills.
M2: To empower the students with language competence through apt mentoring, developing values, skills and positive attitude and helping them climb the ladder of success.
M3: To provide a unique learning environment for the students.
