Dictionary Project

The Appleton Noon Lions Club, working with other area Lions Clubs,  provide each third

grader in the Appleton School District a dictionary (public and private schools). The

purpose of the Dictionary Project is to give each third grader a dictionary to keep and

use as their own personal reference book. The area Clubs have given 13,632 dictionaries since beginning this project in 2007. 

We believe that a dictionary is an essential tool for a quality education.
