Appledore Carnival 2024

Appledore Carnival is very special to us because it allows local members of the community to get out and get involved, as well as giving visitors a holiday of a lifetime. So why not join us?

We all enjoy watching the carnival, but why not get involved? Make a float, get some friends together and jump in!

The judging classes are:

Class 1: Walking Junior, Under 6 Years Old

Class 2: Walking Junior, 6-16 Years Old

Class 3: Walking Senior, Over 16's

Class 4: Family

Class 5: Public House

Class 6: Performing Arts

Class 7: Junior Tableaux, 0-16 Years Old

Class 8: Senior Tableaux, Over 16's

Class 9: John Bailey memorial cup (Overall Winners of Day)

Class 10: Penny Woolaway cup (Most outstanding individual of the day)

The roads into and out of Appledore will be closed from 3.45pm until the carnival ends. There is free parking at Skern lodge, or paid parking in the Main Carpark, West car Park or Odun Road car park... Maps are below. Please enter the village before 3.45pm as NO cars will be permitted into the village or onto ANY main road after this time.
