YOHANNE THE KOHEN

[01] With the expiration of Herod his dominion was divided, and Archelaus his son became ethnarch of Yhudah, Shomron (Samaria), and Edom, (Idumea) and he ruled in place of his father over Yhudah days of ones.

[02] And in the days of Archelaus, a certain one appeared in the wilderness of Yhudah, he who is called the Immerser, his name Yoĥanne, and he was preaching, saying,

[03] Repent, change your hearts and minds, for the kingdom of the heavens is at hand!

[04] Prepare the Way of HE WHO IS AND WHO WAS, make His paths straight!

[05] And Yoĥanne was himself cast about in a most humble attire, for his mantle was of camel hair, and he had an apron of skins about his waist, such as Enosh:

[06] Moreover he was a hairy certain one, such as is written of Eliyah: and as for his countenance it is seemingly as that of a wild one, for his visage cannot be discerned for the locks of hair descending from the Naziri crown of his head.

[07] Yet he is not a wild one: for his words fall as rain, and distill as dew upon the heart, and form in the heart as manna from the heavens with the morning dawn.

[08] And he came preaching to the Yhudim, offering true freedom, saying,

[09] Elohim has sent me to show you the Way of the Torah by which you shall be set free from tyrants: and no mortal shall rule over you, but only the Most High who sent me.

[10] And when the people heard this good message they rejoiced exceedingly.

[11] Moreover he did nothing else but to proclaim the kingdom of Elohim and immerse the people in the stream of Yordan, and when their immersions were complete he sent them away, warning them that they should renounce all evil deeds:

[12] And that soon they would be given a righteous king who would set them free, and put all the wicked into subjection, but the same king himself would be subject to no one but the King Most High above him.

[13] And they brought him before Archelaus: and when the Doctors of the Torah had assembled, they asked him who he was and where he had been until that time.

[14] And he answered, saying, I am Enosh, and as such the Spirit of Elohim has called me, and my food is tzappiĥith [thin flatcakes] made with oil and honey.

[15] But when they threatened to torture him if he did not desist from his words and deeds, he answered, saying to them, It is needful rather for you to desist from your shameful works, and to submit yourselves unto HE WHO WAS AND WHO IS!

[16] And one of the Scribes, his name Shimon, rose up in anger, saying, We read and study the divine scrolls every day!

[17] But you, only now having come forth like a wild beast from the woods: you dare teach us and lead the multitudes astray with your accursed speeches?

[18] And Shimon launched himself forward to rend his cloak, but the Immerser stood unflinching, and in reproach he said to them all,

[19] I will not reveal to you the mystery, Who is among you: for you desire it not, and because of this, unspeakable misfortune has befallen you, and that of your own doing.

[20] And when he had thus spoken, he went away to the other side of the Yordan: and because he was the son of a Kohen, no man ventured to hinder him, and he continued to herald the kingdom of the heavens and immerse the people who went out to hear him.

[21] And the immersion which he heralds is an immersion of three yômim, and with the second immersion holy fire descends upon the water, and a voice out of the heaven:

[22] This is My Son, the Beloved, with whom I make approval.

[23] Then the Spirit drives the talmid into the desert forty yōm and forty laylah, to fast and to pray, and to be tested by the Satan, and the beasts written in the Prophets.

[24] And the one returning from the desert with the Spirit abiding and remaining upon him: the same is the one who is overcoming.

[25] And with the seventh plunge of the third immersion the talmid hopes to hear again the voice out of the heaven, the decree, You are My son, this day I have begotten you.

[26] Such is the first immersion, which is by water, the washing of water in the Word.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 1a

[01] ΑΠΟΚΑΛΥΨΙC Ι̅Η Χ̅Ρ· which ὁ Θ̅C gave unto him to show unto His servants what must come to pass with haste:

[02] And He signified it, sending it by way of His Angel to His servant Yoĥanne,

[03] Who testified the Logos of του Θ̅Υ and the testimony of Ι̅Η Χ̅Ρ, as much as he saw.

[04] Blessed be the one reading, and those hearing the sayings of the prophecy and observing the things written in it: for the time is at hand.

[05] ΙΩΑΝΝΗ to the seven assemblies which are in Asia, grace to you, and peace, from HE WHO IS AND WHO WAS, and the One coming,

[06] And from the seven Spirits which are before His throne,

[07] And from Ι̅Η Χ̅Ρ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth: he who loves us, and looses us from our sins with his blood,

[08] And has made us a kingdom, priests unto τω Θ̅Ω, even his Father:

[09] To Him be the glory and the dominion into the ages of the ages. Amen.

[10] Behold, he comes with the clouds, and every eye shall see him:

[11] And those who have pierced him, and all the tribes of the land, shall surely wail over him. Amen.

[12] I am the Alpha and the Ω, says Κ̅C ὁ Θ̅C the Almighty, HE WHO IS AND WHO WAS, and the One coming.

[13] I, Yoĥanne, your brother and fellow-partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and patience in Ι̅Η,

[14] I was in the isle that is surnamed Πατμω by way of the Logos of του Θ̅Υ and by way of the testimony of Ι̅Η.

[15] I had come to be in the day of the Spirit lighting upon me, [κυρεω, cf. C.U.L. Ms. Oo.1.16, שורה עלי (archaic)] and I heard behind me a great voice like a trumpet, saying,

[16] Write what you see in a scroll, and send it to the seven assemblies:

[17] Unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodikeia.

[18] And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me, and having turned I saw seven golden menorahs:

[19] And in the midst of the menorahs the likeness of a son of man, arrayed in a robe to the foot, and girded roundabout at the chest with a golden belt.

[20] And his head and hairs were white as wool, white as snow, and his eyes as a flame of fire, and his feet like unto polished brass, as having been refined in a furnace.

[21] And his voice is as a voice of many waters, and he had seven stars in his right hand,

[22] And a swift double edged rhomphaia sword proceeding out of his mouth: and his visage is as the sun shining forth in his power.

[23] And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead, and he put his right upon me, saying,

[24] Fear not, I am the first and the last, and I was dead, and behold, I am living into the ages of the ages: and I hold the keys of Death and of Hades.

[25] Write therefore what you have seen, and what is, and what is about to come to pass with these things, the mystery of the seven stars which you saw on my right, and the seven golden menorahs:

[26] The seven stars are Angels of the seven assemblies, and the seven menorahs are seven assemblies.

APOKALYPSE YOHAΝΝE 1b

[01] To the Angel of the assembly in Ephesus, write, Thus says the one retaining the seven stars in his right side, who walks in the midst of the seven golden menorahs:

[02] I know your works and your cuttings and endurance, and that you cannot bear evil, and have tried those calling themselves apostles and they are not, and found them false: and you have patience, and have endured by way of my name, and have not wearied.

[03] But I hold against you that you have left your first love: remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works, and if not, I will come to you and remove your menorah out of its place, if you do not repent.

[04] But this you have, that you detest the works of הניקהלויתים, which I also detest.

[05] The one having an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies:

[06] To the one overcoming, I will give unto him to eat of the tree of the Life that is in the Paradise of του Θ̅Υ.

[07] And to the Angel of the assembly in Smyrna, write, Thus says the first and the last, who was dead, and has lived:

[08] I know of your tribulation and poverty, but you are wealthy, and the blasphemy of those saying they are Yhudim, and are not, but are a synagogue of the Satan.

[09] Fear not the things which you are about to suffer, behold, the Devil is about to cast some of you into prison that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days.

[10] Become faithful unto death: and I will give unto you the crown of the Life.

[11] The one having an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies:

[12] The one overcoming will surely not be hurt out of the second death.

[13] And to the Angel of the assembly in Pergamos, write, Thus says the one having the swift double edged rhomphaia sword:

[14] I know where you dwell, wherein is the throne of the Satan, and you hold fast my name, and denied not my faith even in the days wherein my faithful witness spoke out, (αντειπας), who was slain among you, where the Satan dwells.

[15] But I hold a few things against you, that you have there holders of the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to lay a snare before the sons of Yisrael, to eat idol sacrifices, and to fornicate: thus you also have holders of the similar teaching of ניקילויתן.

[16] Repent therefore: and if not, I will come unto you quickly, and I will make war with them with the rhomphaia sword of my mouth.

[17] The one having an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies:

[18] To the one overcoming, I will give unto him of the hidden manna, and I will give unto him a white psephos stone, and upon the stone a new name written which no one knows if not he receives ―――― .

[19] And to the Angel of the assembly in Thyatira, write, Thus says the Son of του Θ̅Υ, the one having the eyes like a flame of fire and his feet like unto polished brass:

[20] I know your works and love and faith and service and your patience, and your latter works exceed the former.

[21] But I hold against you that you suffer the woman Iezabel who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and seduces my servants to fornicate and eat idol sacrifices: and I gave her time that she repent, and she wills not to repent from her fornication.

[22] Behold, I cast her into a bed, and those committing adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent from her works: and I will kill her offspring with Death, and all the assemblies will know that I am the one who searches the reins and hearts, and I will give unto each of you according to your works.

[23] But unto you I say, to the rest of those in Thyatira, as many as hold not this teaching, who know not the deep things of the Satan as they say, I lay upon you no other burden except that you hold fast what you have until I have come.

[24] And to the one overcoming, and who is observing my works until the end, unto him will I give authority over the nations.

[25] And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the clay vessels they shall be shattered, as I also have received from my Father: and I will give to him the Dawn Star.

[26] The one having an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 2a

[01] And to the Angel of the assembly in Sardis, write, These things says the one having the seven Spirits of του Θ̅Υ and the seven stars:

[02] I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and are dead.

[03] Be watching, and confirm what remains, which is about to die: for I have not found your works complete in the Presence of my του Θ̅Υ.

[04] Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and maintain, and repent.

[05] If therefore you will not be watchful, I will come as a thief, and you will surely not know what hour I will come upon you.

[06] But you have a few names in Sardis which have not defiled their garments: and they shall walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

[07] The one overcoming in this manner shall be arrayed in white garments: and I will surely not blot his name out of the scroll of the Life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before His Angels.

[08] The one having an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

[09] And to the Angel of the assembly in Philadelphia, write, Thus says the Holy One, the True, the one having the key of David, the one who opens and no one shuts, and who shuts and no one opens:

[10] I know your works, behold, I set before you an open door which none can shut, for you have a little strength, and have kept my Logos, and have not denied my name.

[11] Behold, I deliver up from the synagogue of the Satan those saying they are Yhudim and they are not, but lie:

[12] Behold, I will make them that they should come and bow before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.

[13] Because you have guarded the Logos of my patience, I also will guard you out of the hour of tribulation which is about to come upon the whole habitable world, to try the permanent dwellers upon the earth.

[14] I come quickly, hold fast what you have, that no one take your crown.

[15] The one overcoming, him I will make a pillar in the temple of my του Θ̅Υ, and he shall go forth outside no more.

[16] And I will write upon him the Name of my του Θ̅Υ, and the name of the city of my του Θ̅Υ, the new Yerushalem which descends out of the heaven from my του Θ̅Υ, and my new name.

[17] The one having an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

[18] And to the Angel of the assembly in Laodikeia, write, Thus says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Arche of the creation of του Θ̅Υ:

[19] I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you be cold or hot.

[20] So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am about to spew you out of my mouth:

[21] For you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing, and you know not that you are the wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.

[22] I counsel you to purchase from me gold having been tried by fire, that you be rich, and white garments, that you be clothed, and the shame of your nakedness be not made manifest, and eyesalve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.

[23] As many as I love, I admonish and discipline: be zealous therefore, and repent.

[24] Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if anyone hear my voice and open the door, I will enter in unto him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

[25] To the one overcoming, I will give unto him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father in His throne.

[26] The one having an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 2b

[01] With these things I looked, and behold, a door opened in the heavens.

[02] And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, Ascend up here, and I will show you what must come to pass with these things.

[03] Straightway I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne set in the heavens, and One sitting upon the throne:

[04] And the One sitting was like unto the appearance of yaspidi and sardio stone.

[05] And roundabout the throne, a rainbow like unto the appearance of emerald, and twenty four thrones encircling the throne:

[06] And upon the thrones, twenty four elders sitting, arrayed in white garments, and on their heads crowns of gold.

[07] And out of the throne proceed lightrays and voices and thunders, and seven lamps of fire were burning in the presence of the throne, which are the seven Spirits of του Θ̅Υ.

[08] And in the presence of the throne as it were a sea of transparency, like unto crystal:

[09] And in the midst of the throne, and in the circle of the throne, four living creatures full of eyes before and behind.

[10] And the first living creature, like unto a lion, and the second living creature, like unto a calf, and the third living creature having the countenance as of a man, and the fourth living creature, like unto a flying eagle.

[11] And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings on the circle, and within they are full of eyes:

[12] And they have no rest day and night, saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, Κ̅C ὁ Θ̅C the Almighty, HE WHO WAS AND WHO IS, and the One coming.

[13] And when the living creatures give glory and honor and thanksgiving to the One seated upon the throne, who lives into the ages of the ages,

[14] The twenty four elders fall down before the One sitting upon the throne, and worship the One who lives into the ages of the ages, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

[15] You are worthy, ὁ Κ̅C and our ὁ Θ̅C, to receive the Glory and the Honor and the Power: for You created all things, and by Your will they are and were created.

[16] And I saw on the right of the One sitting upon the throne a scroll, written from within and to the back, sealed shut with seven seals.

[17] And I saw a mighty Angel proclaiming in a great voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose the seals thereof?

[18] And no one in the heavens, or upon the earth, or beneath the earth, was able to open the scroll or to look upon it: and I wept much, for none was found worthy to open the scroll or to look thereon.

[19] And one of the elders said to me, Weep not, behold, the Lion of the tribe of Yhudah, the Root of David, has overcome to open the scroll and the seven seals thereof.

[20] And I beheld in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Arnion standing as having been slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of του Θ̅Υ sent forth into all the earth.

[21] And he came and received from the right of the One sitting upon the throne, and when he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Arnion, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones.

[22] And they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to receive the scroll, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have purchased unto τω Θ̅Ω with your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation, and have made them unto our τω Θ̅Ω a kingdom and priests, and they shall reign upon the earth.

[23] And I saw and I heard the voice of many Angels roundabout the throne, and the living creatures and the elders, and their number is myriads of thousands, (רבבות אלפי, BaMidbar 10:36), a great voice, saying,

[24] Worthy is the Arnion that was slain, to receive the Power, and Wealth, and Wisdom, and Might, and Honor, and Glory, and Blessing!

[25] And every creation which is in the heaven, and upon the earth, and beneath the earth, and upon the sea, and all things that are in them, I heard saying,

[26] Unto the One seated upon the throne, and unto the Arnion be the Blessing, and the Honor, and the Glory, and the Dominion, into the ages of the ages! and the four living creatures said, Amen! and the elders fell down and did obeisance.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 3a

[01] And I beheld when the Arnion opened the first of the seven seals, and I heard the first of the four living creatures, saying like a voice of thunder, Come and see! and I looked, and behold, a white horse, and the one sitting thereon having a bow, and unto him was given a לוית, and he went forth victoriously, and so that he might conquer.

[02] And when he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature, saying, Come and see! and another horse came forth fiery red, and to the one sitting thereon, unto him it was given to take peace from the earth, and that they should butcher one another: and unto him was given a great machaira sword.

[03] And when he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature, saying, Come and see! and I looked, and behold, a black horse, and the one sitting thereon having a yoke of the balances in his hand.

[04] And I heard as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, A measure of wheat a denarius, and three measures of barley a denarius: and do the oil and the wine no injustice.

[05] And when he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature, saying, Come and see! and I looked, and behold, a chloros-green horse, and the one sitting thereon, his name, Death, and Hades followed with him: and authority was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to slay with rhomphaia sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

[06] And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw beneath the altar the souls of those having been slain by way of the Logos of του Θ̅Υ, and through the testimony which they held: and they cried with a great voice, saying, For how long, Master, the Holy and True, do you not judge and avenge our blood from the permanent dwellers upon the earth?

[07] And to each of them was given a white robe, and it was said to them that they should repose yet a short time, until their fellow servants and their brethren should also be completed, those about to be slain as they were.

[08] And I beheld when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood, and the stars of the heaven fell to the earth as a fig tree casting her unripe figs, being shaken of a mighty wind, and the heaven separated as a scroll being rolled.

[09] And every mountain and island were moved out of their places: and the kings of the earth, and the mighties, and the rulers of thousands, and the rich, and the strong, and every slave and free one, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.

[10] And they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of the One sitting upon the throne, and from the wrath of the Arnion: for the Great Day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?

[11] With this I beheld four Angels standing at the four corners of the earth, restraining the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow upon the earth, neither upon the sea, nor upon any tree.

[12] And I saw another Angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having a seal of living Θ̅Υ, and he cried with a great voice to the four Angels to whom it was given unto them to hurt the earth and the sea, saying,

[13] Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our του Θ̅Υ upon their foreheads.

[14] And I heard the number of those being sealed, a hundred forty four thousand being sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Yisrael.

[15] From the tribe of Yhudah twelve thousand being sealed, from the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad twelve thousand:

[16] From the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, from the tribe of Nephthalim twelve thousand, from the tribe of Manassheh twelve thousand:

[17] From the tribe of Shimeon twelve thousand, from the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, from the tribe of Yissakar twelve thousand:

[18] From the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, from the tribe of Yoseph twelve thousand, from the tribe of Benyamin twelve thousand being sealed.

[19] With these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Arnion, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands.

[20] And they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation unto our τω Θ̅Ω who sits upon the throne, and unto the Arnion! and all the Angels stood about the circle of the throne, and the elders, and the four living creatures, and they fell before the throne upon their faces, and they worshiped τω Θ̅Ω, saying,

[21] Amen, the Blessing, and the Glory, and the Wisdom, and the Thanksgiving, and the Honor, and the Power, and the Might unto our τω Θ̅Ω into the ages of the ages! Amen.

[22] And one from the elders concluded, saying to me, These who are arrayed in the white robes, who are they? and from where have they come?

[23] And I said to him, Adoni, you know? and he said to me, These are those coming out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes, and have whitened them in the blood of the Arnion.

[24] Therefore they are before the throne of του Θ̅Υ, and minister unto Him day and night in His temple, and the One sitting upon the throne shall tabernacle with them: they shall not hunger anymore, neither shall they thirst anymore, neither shall the sun light upon them, nor any heat:

[25] For the Arnion in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will show them the way to fountains of waters of life, and ὁ Θ̅C will blot out every tear from their eyes.

[26] And when he opened the seventh seal, there came to pass silence in the heaven after the manner, a half hour.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 3b

[01] And I saw the seven Angels which stand in the presence of του Θ̅Υ, and seven trumpets were given to them:

[02] And another Angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer, and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the holy ones upon the golden altar that is in the presence of the throne.

[03] And the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the holy ones ascended out of the hand of the Angel in the presence of του Θ̅Υ, and the Angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and cast it to the earth: and there came to be thunders, and voices, and lightrays, and an earthquake.

[04] And the seven Angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to trumpet, and the first trumpeted, and there came hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast into the earth: and the third part of the earth burned, and the third part of the trees burned, and all green grass burned.

[05] And the second Angel trumpeted, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood, and the third part of the creatures that were in the sea died, those having souls, and the third part of the vessels were utterly corrupted.

[06] And the third Angel trumpeted, and there fell out of heaven a great star burning as a lamp, and it fell on the third part of the rivers, and on the wells of water.

[07] And the name of the star is called Red Worm, (תולעת, Yeshayah 14:11), and the third part of the waters became bitter, and many men died from the embittered waters.

[08] And the fourth Angel trumpeted, and the third part of the sun, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars were struck, so that their third part was darkened: and the day shone not the third part thereof, and the night likewise.

[09] And I saw and I heard one eagle flying in the midst of the heaven, saying in a mighty voice, Woe! Woe! Woe! to the permanent dwellers upon the earth, because of the remaining trumpet voices of the three Angels who are about to trumpet!

[10] And the fifth Angel trumpeted, and I saw a star out of the heaven having fallen to the earth: and to him was given the key of the well of the abyss, and he opened the well of the abyss, and smoke ascended out of the well like the smoke of a great furnace.

[11] And the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the well, and out of the smoke issued forth locusts onto the earth: and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

[12] And it was commanded unto them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men which have not the seal of του Θ̅Υ upon the foreheads.

[13] And to them it was given that not they should kill them, but that they be tormented five months, and their torment is as the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man: and in those days men shall seek death, and shall in no way find it, and they shall desire to die, and death will flee from them.

[14] And the likenesses of the locusts were as horses prepared for war, and on their heads as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as faces of men, and they had hair as hair of women, and their teeth were as teeth of lions.

[15] And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running into battle: and they have tails like unto scorpions, and stingers, and in their tails is their power to hurt men five months.

[16] They have over them a king, the Angel of the abyss, his name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon.

[17] The first Woe has passed, behold, two more Woes come with these things.

[18] And the sixth Angel trumpeted, and I heard one voice out of the horns of the golden altar that is in the presence of του Θ̅Υ, saying to the sixth Angel who had the trumpet,

[19] Loose the four Angels, those that are bound at the great river Euphrates.

[20] And the four Angels were loosed, those having been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, that they should slay the third part of the men.

[21] And the number of the armies of the horsemen, I heard their number: myriads of thousands, (רבתים אלפי, Tehillim 68:17), and thus I saw the horses in the vision.

[22] And those sitting on them had breastplates of fiery red, and of hyacinth blue, and of sulfur yellow: and the heads of the horses are as the heads of lions, and out of their mouths proceed fire and smoke and divinity (θειον).

[23] By these three plagues was the third part of the men killed, from the fire, and from the smoke, and from the divinity, which proceeded out of their mouths:

[24] For the power of the horses is in their mouth, and in their tails, for their tails are like unto serpents having heads, and with them they do harm.

[25] And the remainder of the men, who were not killed with these plagues, repented not from the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and the idols of gold, and of silver, and of brass, and of stone, and of wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

[26] And neither did they repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 4a

[01] And I saw another mighty Angel descending out of the heaven, arrayed in a cloud, and the rainbow upon his head, and his visage as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire.

[02] And he had in his hand an open scroll chapter section, and he put his right foot upon the sea, but the left upon the earth: and he cried in a great voice, like as a lion bellowing, and when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.

[03] And when the seven thunders uttered, I was about to write: and I heard a voice out of the heaven, saying, Seal what things the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

[04] And the Angel which I beheld standing upon the sea and upon the earth raised up his right hand to the heaven, and swore by the One who lives into the ages of the ages, who created the heaven and what is therein, and the earth and what is therein, and the sea and what is therein, that,

[05] The time is not yet: but shall be in the days of the voice of the seventh Angel, when he is about to trumpet, and the mystery of του Θ̅Υ has been completed, according to the good message which He has proclaimed to His own servants the Prophets.

[06] And the voice which I heard out of the heaven, again I heard speaking with me, and saying, Go take the scroll chapter section which is open in the hand of the Angel who stands upon the sea and upon the earth.

[07] And I went to the Angel, saying to him that he should give me the scroll chapter, and he said to me, Take, and eat it, and it shall make your belly bitter: but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.

[08] And I took the scroll chapter from the hand of the Angel and ate it, and it was in my mouth sweet as honey, and when I had eaten it my belly was made bitter: and they said to me, You must prophesy again over many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.

[09] And a reed like unto a rod was given to me, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of του Θ̅Υ, and the altar, and those worshiping therein: and the court which is without the temple thrust outward, and measure it not, for it has been given to the nations, and the holy city they shall trample forty two months.

[10] And I will bring forth My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred sixty days arrayed in sackcloth.

[11] These are the two olive clusters and the two menorahs which stand in the presence of του Κ̅Υ of the earth: and if anyone will do them harm, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies, and if anyone will hurt them, in this manner he must slain.

[12] These have the authority to shut the heaven, that it not rain-shower the days of their prophecy, and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague as often as they will.

[13] And when they have completed their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the abyss will make war with them, and will overcome them, and will slay their carcass [πτωμα as a mass noun, (as דמן, Ĥazon Gabriel, Line 81)] in the square of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their ὁ Κ̅C was crucified.

[14] And those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look upon their πτωμα three days and a half, and will not suffer their carcasses to be placed in a tomb.

[15] And the permanent dwellers upon the earth will rejoice over them, and celebrate, and they will send gift-offerings to one another: for these two Prophets will have tormented the permanent dwellers upon the earth.

[16] And with the three days and a half the Spirit of Life from του Θ̅Υ entered into them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon those beholding them.

[17] And they heard a great voice out of heaven, saying to them, Ascend up here! and they ascended into the heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

[18] And in that hour there came to be a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and there were slain in the earthquake seven thousand names of men: and the remnant were fearful, and gave glory unto τω Θ̅Ω of the heaven.

[19] The second Woe has passed, behold, the third Woe comes quickly!

[20] And the seventh Angel trumpeted, and there followed great voices in the heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world has come to be the kingdom of our του Κ̅Υ, and of His Χ̅Ρ, and He shall reign into the ages of the ages!

[21] And the twenty four elders who sit in the presence of του Θ̅Υ on their thrones fell upon their faces and worshiped τω Θ̅Ω, saying,

[22] We give thanks to You, Κ̅Є ὁ Θ̅C the Almighty, HE WHO IS AND WHO WAS, for You have taken Your mighty power and have reigned.

[23] And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come, and the appointed time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your servants:

[24] To the Prophets, and to the holy ones, and to those reverencing Your Name, the small and the great, and to destroy those destroying the earth.

[25] And the temple of του Θ̅Υ which is in the heaven was opened, and the Ark of His Covenant appeared in His temple.

[26] And there were lightrays, and voices, and thunders, and quakes, and great hail.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 4b

[01] And a great sign appeared in the heaven, a woman arrayed with the sun, and the moon beneath her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.

[02] And she was holding in gastri, and cried out, travailing, and in pain to bring forth.

[03] And another sign appeared in the heaven, and behold, a great fiery-red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads seven diadems.

[04] And his tail drew a third of the stars of the heaven, and he cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was about to bring forth, that when she had produced he might devour her offspring.

[05] And she produced a son, a manchild who is about to rule all the nations with a rod of iron: and her child was taken up unto τον Θ̅Ν, and unto His throne.

[06] And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has there a place prepared of του Θ̅Υ, that there they may nourish her a thousand two hundred sixty days.

[07] And there came to be war in the heaven, Mikael and his Angels making war with the dragon, and the dragon made war, and his angels:

[08] And they were not of strength, neither was their place found any more in the heaven, and the great dragon was cast down, the serpent, the ancient one, the one called the Devil and the Satan who deceives the whole habitable world, he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.

[09] And I heard a great voice in the heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our του Θ̅Υ, and the authority of His του Χ̅Ρ: for the Accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuses them before our του Θ̅Υ day and night.

[10] And they overcame him by way of of the blood of the Arnion, and by way of the Logos of their testimony, and they loved not their soul even unto death.

[11] Therefore the heavens and those tabernacling therein rejoice: Woe unto the earth and the sea, for the Devil has descended unto you, having great fury, knowing that he has a brief appointed time!

[12] And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he pursued the woman which had produced the manchild.

[13] And the woman was given the two wings of the Great Eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

[14] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water like a river after the woman, that he might cause her to be swept away in a flood.

[15] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened up her mouth, and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

[16] And the dragon was enraged over the woman, and went off to make war with the remnant of her seed, those observing the commandments of του Θ̅Υ and holding the testimony of Ι̅Η.

[17] And he stood upon the sand of the sea: and I saw a beast ascending up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy.

[18] And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet as of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave to him his power, and his throne, and great authority.

[19] And I saw one of his heads as having been slain to death: and the stroke of his death was healed, and the whole earth wondered after the beast.

[20] And they bowed to the dragon, for he gave the authority unto the beast: and they bowed to the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? and who can war with him?

[21] And unto him was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies: and unto him was given authority to continue forty two months.

[22] And he opened his mouth in blasphemies toward τον Θ̅Ν, to blaspheme His Name, and His tabernacle, those tabernacling in the heaven.

[23] And it was given unto him to make war with the holy ones, and to overcome them: and authority was given unto him over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.

[24] And all the permanent dwellers upon the earth shall bow to him, every one whose name has not been written in the scroll of the Life of the Arnion having been slain from the foundation of the world.

[25] If anyone has an ear, let him hear: if anyone is in captivity, into captivity he goes: if anyone shall kill by the sword, by the sword must he be killed.

[26] Here is the patience and the faithfulness of the holy ones.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 5a

[01] And I saw another beast ascending up out of the earth: and he had two horns like unto a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.

[02] And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence: and he makes the earth and the permanent dwellers therein to worship the first beast, whose stroke of death was healed.

[03] And he performs great signs, even that he should make fire to come down out of the heaven upon the earth in the presence of men: and he deceives the permanent dwellers upon the earth by way of the signs which he was given to do in the presence of the beast,

[04] Saying to the permanent dwellers upon the earth, that they should make an image unto the beast who has the stroke of the machaira sword and has lived.

[05] And it was given unto him to give spirit to the image of the breast, that the image of the beast should also speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

[06] And he makes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, that they should be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead:

[07] And that no one be able to buy or to sell if he has not the mark, the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

[08] Here is the wisdom: the one having understanding, let him count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred sixty six.

[09] And I looked, and behold, the Arnion standing on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred forty four thousand, having his name and the Name of his Father written on their foreheads.

[10] And I heard a voice from the heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder, and the voice which I heard was as harpers harping with their harps.

[11] And they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders: and no one was able to learn the song if not the hundred forty four thousand, those having been purchased from the earth.

[12] These are those not defiled with women, for they are virgins: these follow the Arnion wheresoever he goes, these were purchased from among the men to be firstfruits unto τω Θ̅Ω, and unto the Arnion, and in their mouth was found no falsehood, they are without blemish.

[13] And I saw another Angel flying in the midst of the heaven, having everlasting good news to proclaim unto the permanent dwellers upon the earth, and unto every nation and tribe and tongue and people:

[14] Saying with a great voice, Fear τον Θ̅Ν, and give glory unto Him, for the hour of His judgment has come, and bow to the One who made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters.

[15] And another second Angel followed, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, she who made all the nations to drink from the wine of the fury of her fornication.

[16] And another third Angel followed them, saying with a great voice, If anyone bows to the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,

[17] The same also shall drink of the wine of the fury of του Θ̅Υ having been prepared undiluted in the cup of His wrath: and he shall be tormented with fire and divine fury in the presence of the holy Angels, and in the presence of the Arnion:

[18] And the smoke of their torment ascends to the ages of the ages, and they have no rest day and night, those who bow to the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.

[19] Here is the patience of the holy ones: those observing the commandments of του Θ̅Υ, and the faith of Ι̅Η.

[20] And I heard a voice out of the heaven, saying, Write, Blessed be the dead who die in Κ̅Ω from henceforth: yea, the Spirit says, that they may rest from their choppings, for their works follow with them.

[21] And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and one like unto a son of man sitting upon the cloud, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

[22] And another Angel came forth out from the temple, crying with a great voice to the one sitting upon the cloud, Thrust in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come: for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

[23] And the one sitting on the cloud cast his sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped: and another Angel came forth from the temple which is in the heaven, himself also having a sharp sickle.

[24] And another Angel came from the altar, the one having authority over fire, and he called with a great voice to the one having the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth: for her grapes are fully ripe.

[25] And the Angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the winepress of the fury of του Θ̅Υ the Great.

[26] And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came forth from the winepress up to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 5b

[01] And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and marvelous, seven Angels having seven strokes which are the last, for in them is finished the fury of του Θ̅Υ.

[02] And I saw like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those overcoming out of the beast, and out of his image, and out of the number of his name, standing upon the sea of transparency, having harps of του Θ̅Υ.

[03] And they sing the song of Mosheh the servant of του Θ̅Υ, and the song of the Arnion, saying, Great and marvelous are Your works, Κ̅Є ὁ Θ̅C the Almighty, righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the Ages.

[04] Who will not fear, Κ̅E, and glorify Your Name which alone is Holy? for all the nations shall come and bow before You, for Your righteous ways are made manifest.

[05] And with these things I looked, and the temple of the tabernacle-tent of the testimony in the heaven was opened: and the seven Angels having the seven strokes came out of the temple arrayed with precious stone, pure and bright, and girded about the chests with golden belts.

[06] And one from the four living creatures gave unto the seven Angels seven golden bowls, full of the fury of του Θ̅Υ, who lives into the ages of the ages.

[07] And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of του Θ̅Υ, and from His Power, and no one was able to enter into the sanctuary until the seven strokes of the seven Angels were completed.

[08] And I heard a great voice out of the temple, saying to the seven Angels, Go and pour out the seven bowls of the fury of του Θ̅Υ into the earth.

[09] And the first went, and poured out his bowl into the earth: and there came to be a malignant and grievous sore upon the men that had the mark of the beast, and that bowed to his image.

[10] And the second poured out his bowl into the sea: and it became as the blood of the dead, and every living soul of the things that were in the sea died.

[11] And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters and they became blood.

[12] And I heard the Angel of the waters, saying, Righteous You are, HE WHO IS AND WHO WAS, the Holy One, that You judge this:

[13] For they poured out the blood of the holy ones and Prophets, and You have given them blood to drink: they are deserving.

[14] And I heard the altar, saying, Yea, Κ̅Є ὁ Θ̅C the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.

[15] And the fourth poured out his bowl on the sun: and unto him it was given to scorch men with fire, and the men were scorched with great heat.

[16] And they blasphemed the Name of του Θ̅Υ, who has the authority over these strokes, and they repented not to give Him glory.

[17] And the fifth poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast: and his kingdom became darkened, and they gnawed their tongues out of pain, and they blasphemed τον Θ̅Ν of the heaven for their pains and their sores, and they repented not of their works.

[18] And the sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates: and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings from the rising sun might be prepared.

[19] And I saw out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs:

[20] For they are spirits of demons working signs, which go forth to the kings of the all the habitable land, to gather them to the war of the Great Day of του Θ̅Υ the Almighty.

[21] Behold, I come as a thief: blessed be the one watching, and guarding his garments, that he not walk naked and they see his shame.

[22] And they gathered them together in the place called, in Hebrew, הר־מעדן.

[23] And the seventh poured out his bowl upon the air: and there issued forth a great voice out of the temple, from the throne, saying, It is done!

[24] And there followed lightrays, and voices, and thunders: and there came a great earthquake, such as not has occurred since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake such as in this manner.

[25] And the great city was divided into into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and Babylon the Great was remembered in the presence of του Θ̅Υ, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.

[26] And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found, and great hail as the weight of a talent fell out of the heaven upon the men: and the men blasphemed τον Θ̅Ν because of the stroke of the hail, for the plague thereof is exceedingly great.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 6a

[01] And one of the seven angels having the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot that sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the permanent dwellers of the earth were made drunken with the wine of her fornication.

[02] And he carried me away into the wilderness, in the Spirit, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

[03] And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and ornamented with gold and precious stone and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and the unclean things of her fornication.

[04] And upon her forehead a name was written, a mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of the Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth.

[05] And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the holy ones, and with the blood of the witnesses of Ι̅Η, and having seen her I was astonished with great amazement.

[06] And the Angel said to me, For what reason are you astonished? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

[07] The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to ascend out of the abyss, and into perdition he goes: and the permanent dweller upon the earth whose name has not been written in the scroll of the Life from the foundation of the world shall be amazed, seeing the beast, that he was, and is not, and has come.

[08] Here is the mind having wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains where the woman sits upon them: and they are seven kings, the five are fallen, the one is, the other is not yet come, and when he comes he must continue a short time.

[09] And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is from the seven, and into perdition he goes: and the ten horns which you saw are ten kings which have not yet received a kingdom, but authority as kings one hour they receive with the beast.

[10] These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast: these will make war with the Arnion, and the Arnion will overcome them, for he is Κ̅C of adonim, and King of kings, and those with him are called out and chosen and faithful.

[11] And he said to me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues: and the ten horns and the beast which you saw, these will hate the harlot, and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh, and will cremate her with fire.

[12] For ὁ Θ̅C put into their hearts to perform His will, and to execute one intent, and to give their kingdom to the beast until the sayings of του Θ̅Υ shall be completed: and the woman which you saw is the great city having dominion over the kings of the earth.

[13] With these things I saw another Angel descending out of the heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his glory.

[14] And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, Babylon the Great is fallen, fallen, and has become a habitation of demons, and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird: for by the wine of the passion of her fornication all the nations are fallen, and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth were enriched by the miracle of her luxury.

[15] And I heard another voice out of the heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that you have no fellowship with her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues: for her sins have reached even unto the heaven, and ὁ Θ̅C has remembered her iniquities.

[16] Render unto her even as she rendered, and double unto her things double according to her works, in the cup which she mixed, mix unto her double: as much as she glorified herself and waxed luxurious, so much give her of torment and mourning, for she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall surely not see sorrow.

[17] Therefore in one day her plagues shall come, death and mourning and famine, and she will be cremated with fire: for mighty is ὁ Θ̅C who judges her.

[18] And the kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her shall weep and wail over her, when they look upon the smoke of her burning, standing far off for the fear of her torment, saying, Woe! Woe! the great city Babylon, the mighty city! for in one hour your judgment is come!

[19] And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their cargo any more, cargo of gold, and silver, and precious stone, and pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and every fragrant wood, and every vessel of ivory, and every vessel of precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, and cinnamon, and spice, and incense, and myrrh, and libanon, and wine, and olive oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and bodies and souls of men.

[20] And your fruits of the lust of the soul are departed from you, and all things luxurious and splendid are perished from you, and no more shall they be found at all.

[21] The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning, saying, Woe! Woe! the great city! she that was arrayed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stone and pearl, for in one hour such great wealth is desolated!

[22] And every shipmaster, and every place of ships and the mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood from afar: and they cried out, looking upon the smoke of her burning, saying, What was like the great city? and they cast dust upon their heads, and cried out, weeping and mourning, saying,

[23] Woe! Woe! the great city! wherein all that had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her costliness, for in one hour she is desolated!

[24] Rejoice over her, O heaven and holy ones and apostles and prophets: for ὁ Θ̅C has exacted your judgment from her! and a mighty Angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, In this manner of sudden violence shall the great city Babylon be cast down, and will be found no more at all:

[25] And the voice of harpers and minstrels and fluters and trumpeters shall be heard no more in you, and no craftsman of any craft shall be found anymore in you, and the voice of a mill shall be heard no more in you, and the light of a lamp shall shine no more in you, and the voice of the groom and of the bride shall be heard no more in you:

[26] For your merchants were the mighty ones of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived: and in her was found the blood of prophets and holy ones and all having been slain upon the earth.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 6b

[01] With these things I heard as it were a great voice of a great multitude in the heaven, saying, Hallelu YH, the Salvation, and the Glory, and the Power of our του Θ̅Υ: for true and righteous are His judgments, for He has judged the great harlot which corrupted the earth by her fornication, and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand.

[02] And a second time they say, Hallelu YH! and her smoke ascends into the ages of the ages! and the twenty four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped τω Θ̅Ω who sits upon the throne, saying, Amen! Hallelu YH!

[03] And a voice came forth from the throne, saying, Give praise unto our τω Θ̅Ω, all His servants small and great who reverence Him!

[04] And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunders, saying, Hallelu YH! for Κ̅C ὁ Θ̅C the Almighty reigns!

[05] Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let us give the glory unto Him: for the marriage of the Arnion is come, and his wife has prepared herself.

[06] And unto her it was given that she should be arrayed in fine linen, bright and clean: for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the holy ones.

[07] And he said to me, Write, Blessed be those having been called to the marriage supper of the Arnion, and he said to me, These are true sayings of του Θ̅Υ.

[08] And I fell before his feet to do obeisance unto him, and he said to me, Forbear! behold, I am your fellow servant and of your brethren who hold the testimony of Ι̅Η: do obeisance unto τω Θ̅Ω, for the testimony of Ι̅Η is the Spirit of the prophecy.

[09] And I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and the one sitting thereon is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.

[10] And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems having a name written, which no one knows if not ―――― αὐτός.

[11] And he was arrayed with a garment dipped in blood, and his name is called the Logos of του Θ̅Υ, and the armies which are in the heaven followed with him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

[12] And out of his mouth proceeds a swift rhomphaia sword, that with it he should smite the nations, and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of του Θ̅Υ the Almighty.

[13] And he has upon his garment and upon his thigh a name written, King of kings and Κ̅C of adonim.

[14] And I saw one Angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of the heaven, Come, be gathered together unto the great supper of του Θ̅Υ, that you may eat flesh of kings, and flesh of rulers of thousands, and flesh of mighty ones, and flesh of horses and of those sitting thereon, and flesh of all both free and slave, and small and great.

[15] And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war with the one sitting upon the horse and with his army.

[16] And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his presence with which he deceived those that received the mark of the beast, and those that worshiped his image.

[17] Those two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burns with divine fury, and the rest were slain with the rhomphaia sword which came forth out of the mouth of the one sitting upon the horse: and all the birds were gorged with their flesh.

[18] And I saw an Angel descending out of the heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand.

[19] And he seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the Devil and the Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and closed it:

[20] And he sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years should be completed: with those things he must be loosed a little time.

[21] And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them, and the souls of those having been truncated by way of the testimony of Ι̅Η, and by way of the Logos of του Θ̅Υ, and which worshiped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon the forehead and upon their hand: and they lived and reigned with the Χ̅Ρ a thousand years.

[22] The rest of the dead lived not until the thousand years should be completed.

[23] This is the first resurrection: blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection, over these the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of του Θ̅Υ and of the Χ̅Ρ, and they shall reign with him a thousand years.

[24] And when the thousand years are completed, the Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

[25] And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and encircled the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city: and fire came down out of the heaven and devoured them.

[26] And the Devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and divine fury, where [are] also the beast and the false prophet, and they shall be tormented day and night into the ages of the ages.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 7a

[01] And I saw a great white throne, and the one sitting thereon, from whose countenance the earth and the heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.

[02] And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened, and another book was opened which is the book of the Life: and the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works.

[03] And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and the Death and the Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged each one according to their works.

[04] And the Death and the Hades were cast into the lake of fire: this is the second death, the lake of fire, and if any was not found having been written in the book of the Life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

[05] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea is no more.

[06] And I saw the holy city, new Yerushalem, descending out of the heaven from του Θ̅Υ, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

[07] And I heard a great voice out of the throne, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of του Θ̅Υ is with men, and He shall tabernacle with them, and they shall be his peoples, and ὁ Θ̅C Himself shall be with them.

[08] And He shall blot every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor pain shall there be any more: the former things are passed away.

[09] And the one sitting upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new! and He said, Write, for these saying are faithful and true.

[10] And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Ω, the Arche and the Telos, I will give to the one who thirsts from the fountain of the water of the Life freely.

[11] The one overcoming shall inherit these things, and I will be unto him Θ̅C, and he will be unto Me a son.

[12] But unto the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the liars, their allotment is in the lake burning with fire and divine fury, which is the second death.

[13] And there came one from the seven Angels who had the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues, and he spoke with me, saying, Come, I will show unto you the bride, the wife of the Arnion.

[14] And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city, Yerushalem, descending out of the heaven from του Θ̅Υ, having the glory of του Θ̅Υ, her light like unto a stone most precious, like yaspidi stone, clear as crystal, having a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve Angels, and names written thereon which are the twelve tribes of the sons of Yisrael.

[15] On the east three gates, and on the north three gates, and on the south three gates, and on the west three gates: and the wall of the city having twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Arnion.

[16] And the one speaking with me had a golden measuring reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof: and the city sets foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth.

[17] And he measured the city by the reed, twelve thousand stadia: the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal, and he measured the wall thereof, a hundred forty four cubits, a measure of a man, which is an angel.

[18] And the construction of the wall thereof, jasper, and the city pure gold, like unto pure glass: the foundations of the wall of the city all adorned with precious stones.

[19] The first foundation, jasper, the second, sapphire, the third, chalcedony, the fourth, emerald, the fifth, sardonyx, the sixth, sardius, the seventh, chrysolite, the eighth, beryl, the ninth, topaz, the tenth, chrysoprase, the eleventh, jacinth, the twelfth, amethyst.

[20] And the twelve gates, twelve pearls, each one of the gates was from one pearl.

[21] And the broad place of the city, pure gold, like transparent glass.

[22] And I saw no temple in her, for Κ̅C ὁ Θ̅C Almighty is her temple, and the Arnion.

[23] And the city has no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon her: for the glory of του Θ̅Υ has illuminated her, and her lamp is the Arnion.

[24] And the nations shall walk by way of her light: and the kings of the earth bring their glory into her.

[25] And her gates will surely not be shut by day: for there shall be no night there.

[26] And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into her, and in no way shall anything defiled enter into her, nor one who works abomination and a lie: but only those written in the book of the Life of the Arnion.

APOKALYPSE YOHANNE 7b

[01] And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of του Θ̅Υ and of the Arnion, in the midst of the broad place thereof.

[02] And on one side of the river and on the other was the tree of Life bearing twelve fruits, according to each month yielding its fruit, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

[03] And there shall not be any curse anymore: and the throne of του Θ̅Υ and of the Arnion shall be therein, and His servants shall minister unto Him.

[04] And they shall see His countenance: and His Name shall be upon their foreheads.

[05] And there shall be no more night, and they have no need of the light of a lamp and the light of the sun: for Κ̅C ὁ Θ̅C shall be their illumination, and they shall reign into the ages of the ages.

[06] And he said to me, These sayings are faithful and true: and Κ̅C ὁ Θ̅C of the spirits of the Prophets sent His Angel to show his servants what must come to pass with haste.

[07] And behold, I come quickly, blessed be the one observing the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

[08] And I, Yoĥanne, am the one hearing and seeing these things.

[09] And when I heard and saw, I fell down to do obeisance before the feet of the Angel who showed me these things.

[10] And he said to me, Forbear! behold, I am your fellow servant and of your brethren the Prophets, and of those keeping the sayings of this book: do obeisance unto τω Θ̅Ω.

[11] And he said to me, Seal up not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

[12] He that is unrighteous: let him yet work unrighteousness.

[13] And he that is filthy: let him yet work filthiness.

[14] And he that is righteous: let him yet work righteousness.

[15] And he that is holy: let him yet work holiness.

[16] Behold, I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to render unto each one accordingly as are his works.

[17] I am the Alpha and the Ω, the Protos and the Eschatos, the Arche and the Telos.

[18] Blessed be those washing their robes: for they shall have the right to the tree of the Life and the gates entering into the city.

[19] Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the murderers and the idolaters and every one loving and working a lie.

[20] I, Ι̅Η, have dispatched My Angel to witness unto you these things concerning the assemblies: I am the Rhiza and the Genos of David, the bright Morning Star.

[21] And the Spirit and the bride say, Come, and the one hearing, let him say, Come.

[22] And the one thirsting, let him come: he who will, let him take the water of life freely.

[23] I testify unto all those hearing the sayings of the prophecy of this book: If anyone shall add to them, ὁ Θ̅C shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book.

[24] And if anyone shall remove from the sayings of the book of this prophecy, ὁ Θ̅C shall remove his portion from the tree of the Life and out of the holy city which are written in this book.

[25] The one witnessing these things says, Yea, I come quickly, amen: come, Κ̅Є Ι̅Η.

[26] The grace of the του Κ̅Υ Ι̅Η be with the holy ones. Amen.
