What is the future improvement?
Because of the cooperation of each group member, our group has been able to run a business that sold chocotub and achieve good sales results. However, based on our experience running this business, there are a few things we need to work on to improve our experience and sales results. The two main improvements is to sell more than 1 type of product and make each member hold the product (stock) instead of 2-3 members only.
First and foremost, the main future improvement is by increasing various types of products. This is very important in order to improve company sales and profits while giving buyers the opportunity to choose their preferences according to their tastes. For example, we can sell other products like cookies. Based on our observations throughout this practicum, we have found that business cookies are very worthwhile to venture into. With that, we plan to increase our sales by ordering 80 packages of cookies that have goody size for sale in UMS and other area in the future, with an estimated RM 2 per package. In addition, we only need a small modal to buy and then, get huge profit from this product, so we can avoid any loss for our company.
In short, we believe, each individual has an appetite for choosing food and we realize the importance of diversifying the types of products we sell.
Next, based on our current business we are aware that we only can sell our product maximum to two places which are inside UMS and in Kampung Beluran. This is because only members in UMS and Kampung Beluran can sell our product as they have the stock. Even though other members are helping by gathering the orders, or helping to run the business, however, the lack of stocks making them only able to gather the order for the places mentioned instead of the places they are currently living in. Due to that, we cannot increase our customers and sales in other places. Hence, in the future, by making each member hold the product (stocks) we can sell our product in places where each member is in. Therefore, although we did not serve any postage but we are still able to sell our product outside the places mentioned.
