City Line is a commuter rail line that stops at all stations. Trains leave every 15min, and after Makkasan station it continues to Ratchaprarop and Phaya Thai stations. The ride to Phaya Thai takes 24min from/to the airport and costs 45 baht. (the ride to or from Makkasan is 35 baht, Ratchaprarop is 40 baht, Lat Krabang is 15 baht ). They run from 0600 to 2359.
BY TAXI
Metered taxis are available on the first floor (one floor below arrivals). Follow the "public taxi" signs that lead to the outside of the airport premises, and take a ticket from the machine. Cost 300- 450 Thai Baht. Just go to the parking slot of the number shown on your ticket. No need to take a Limousine Service (cost 800 THB or more). But always make sure the taxi driver switches on the Taxi Meter (showing 35 Baht).
