PACE presentation given by Carter Klein. Speech:
My name is Carter Klein and I am the PACE Director for the Southern Region of Student PSEA. PACE stands for Political Action Committee for Education. I am here today to talk to you about the importance of voting and why you should. In the United States, you have the opportunity of being able to vote for candidates running for public office. The last day to Register to vote in Pennsylvania is October 21st. It is important that you do so and head to the polls on November 5th. Voting is a valuable gift we are all given and should be used to vote for the candidate that your views best align with. The election has the potential to impact your life, your future, and the future for children. Education is crucial to the future of this country as well. Education is what shapes the future and teachers are unique in the sense that every person has at one point had a teacher and some of them have potentially made a positive impact on their life. On November 5th it is important that you go to the polls and vote for who you think will be the best for the country. Thank you very much.
