SITES certifications are no easy feat. It takes a lot of moving factors and intentional elements to obtain the certification in full.
This signage library focuses primarily on section EDUCATION C9.1. This section expands on key details to promote understanding of sustainability in ways that positively influence park visitors' behavior.
There are key requirements at the core of this section:
A minimum of three educational or interpretive elements that draw attention to and explain sustainable features or processes of the site design, construction, operations, or maintenance
Demonstrate how the educational elements represent environmentally responsible behavior
