AP 3D Art and Design
Class overview
Students create a portfolio of work to demonstrate inquiry through art and design and the development of materials, processes, and ideas over the course of a year. Portfolios include works of art and design, process documentation, and written information about the work presented. In May, students submit portfolios for evaluation based on specific criteria, which include skillful synthesis of materials, processes, and ideas and sustained investigation through practice, experimentation, and revision, guided by questions.

About Me
My name is Kimberly Tuohy. This is my third year at Dougherty Valley, and I have been an educator for 18 years. I've taught many subjects in the arts, including IB Art. This will be my second year teaching AP 3D Art and Design, similar to IB Art. I am so excited to help you explore what you want to express with your artwork.
