Volunteers

Our volunteers are a vital part of our work and culture, and we could not fulfill our goals of instilling wonder, respect, and stewardship without them. We love working with them on and off the floor, and we don't want to change the volunteer experience. Our goal is to share our space and mission with our volunteers as part of our aquarium family, while defining clear boundaries and responsibilities for both of us. Union contracts from other institutions have preserved the volunteer experience, and we intend to do the same.
